2. NATURE OF DUTIES PERFORMED:
 Managing Inward Material Inspections such as pipes, pipe fittings, valves, structural
mechanical and instrumentation equipment like wire rope , pulley, pressure gauge,
pressure transmitter, cables, breathing air compressor, fire pump and engine etc.
 Review of Material Test Certificates as per international standards like ABS, BV, ASTM,
ASME, API, DNV, GL, AISI, LR etc.
 Preparation of ITP, ITR, Material Registry, Inspection Report as per project specific
requirement.
 Monitor the welding preparation & performance and conduct visual inspection to ensure
welds & repair of welds are in accordance with the company procedure and international
codes of practice.
 For Fit up inspection: check material traceability and confirm the material grade as per
approved drawing, check the root gap, root face and bevel angle, misalignment &
orientation as per Approved GA drawing.
 Review and comply the WPS/ PQR procedure as per welding need to be performed and
Preparing the welding summary report, NDT report.
 Review the Painting procedure & Inspection report prepared by the Approved Vendor.
 Conduct the final dimensional & system performance inspection with Client.
 Coordinating with the TPI & Class (M/s ABS, M/s BV, M/s DNV) for the inspection of the
fabrication materials & hydrostatic / Pneumatic testing for at Yard & Onboard facilities as
per the project specification and inspection & test plan (ITP)
 Explain drawings/ details to the fabrication crew and ensure the assigned jobs are
completed as per the drawing and as scheduled.
 Complying the all relevant certificates for project materials and prepare the MR, COC, MCC,
IRN and Final inspection report.
