What is Recruitment?
Recruitment is a process in which the interviewer interview a person in order to recruit that person
for his company or organization.
Why Recruitment occurs?
1. If a company or organization has many jobs and has less Human Resources that organization will be
recruit.
2. If a company needs to reduce time of a job then recruitment will occur.
3. If a company needs a well knowledge person in their field then recruitment will occur.
Different and effective ways of recruiting
1. Advertising Directly
2. Referring through Employees
3. Transfers and Promotions
4. Recruiting Agents
1. Advertising Directly:
In this method the company or organization advertises they are recruiting people for a mentioned
jobs using social media, TV ads, Newspaper ads, and so on.
2. Referring through Employees:
In this method the company or organization uses their employees to refer their company to other
searching peoples or their friends or any other people has eligible for their organization jobs.
3. Transfers and Promotions:
This method are quite different but the concept is same they uses their own employees to fill the
roles in a company. And giving promoting, increasing salary and transferring to another branch of same
company based on employees knowledge and experience in their company.
4. Recruiting Agents:
In this method the company recruits employees using another organization like colleges and institutions
time period when a person completes his degree in cycle.
What is referral in LinkedIn?
Based on LinkedIn referral means a person who works in a same field that you wants to work for. If he
refers to you to that job it is known a referral in LinkedIn
How to get referrals from people on LinkedIn
Step 1: Login into LinkedIn and look for little icon at the top that looks like a briefcase and it says jobs and
click that icon.
Step 2: After clicking that icon it loads the jobs page.
Step 3: On that page a search bar names area or location on that search one area that is nearby you.
Step 4: It brings some result based on the location and above there will be a button named company click
and select a company related to your field and give apply.
Step 5: Select a job that’s you wanted and give easy apply and click ask for referral on the pop up message.
Step 6: Then you will get some connections based on your filed and select a person and click message.
Step 7: There will be a message already written based on you selection if you want you can edit.
Step 8: Then click send button and don’t forget to give apply it will brought up another tab in the same
browser.
Step 9: Go through the normal application process and click on allow access and it will connect to another
process.
Step 10: Then click on upload your resume using LinkedIn fill the information and give finish.
Steps and plan for recruitment using Social media
Nowadays social media is mostly used for by peoples and companies to promote their brand and
products. Did you know nowadays 92 % of recruiters use social media for recruiting people for their company
or organization. Many people uses social media not only for social life also for their job opportunities.
1. Employees sharing posts on social media
By the employees sharing their company’s recruitment post on social media the peoples who are eligible
for that job can be see the post and visit the company for that job.
2. Joining LinkedIn groups
By creating a best profile and joining a recruitment groups is much help for you carrier and job
opportunities. Because Nowadays 80% of the job recruitment is done in LinkedIn.
3. Always active in social media
Being active in social media and seeing all recruitment post is more helpful it is not only about LinkedIn it
works on every social media that you are using. Not only seeing the post you should response for the post
given in the social media.
4. Building a community
Building a community in the social media is more important whatever job took or if you want to
recruit person for any job. Making a community means making friends or families in social media.
