New demand from the country and the society

planning and construction>.

I have no doubt that the small block and dense road network are more adaptable to modern life, especially
for a country in such rapid development. But Beijing is not New York, whether a city or a university campus
has the history of his own.
I would like discuss this topic in directions as below:
1 The bounding wall can be easily broken down, but can the life behind the bounding wall be easily changed?
2 As for the traffic, can one single site of university campus solve the problem of the city?
3 what is the real purpose of tearing down the wall? We should pay more attention to improve the quality of
the city life, shouldn’t only try to create more GDP using another name?
4 if we have no other choice, how to use this chance to make the campus more suitable for the increasing
needs of the scientific and technological innovation?
