3. THE IDEA
• The major limitation for touchscreens is the fact that they operate only in
two dimensions; the third dimension introduced with force touch is
extremely limited. Comparatively, hand gestures and physical
movements can operate in three dimensions and depending on how
they’re designed, could feel more natural than swiping and tapping a
smartphone screen.
• With enough sophistication, these systems could provide better feedback
to the users in control; rather than merely responding with visual feedback
like movement or lights, users could feasibly be immersed with physical
feedback like vibration or resistance.
4. HOW THIS IDEA CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
• Nowadays, robotics are becoming one of the most advanced in the field of
technology. The applications of robotics mainly involve in automobiles,
medical, construction, defence and also used as a fire fighting robot to
help the people from the fire accident. But, controlling the robot with a
remote or a switch is quite complicated. So, a new project is developed
that is, an accelerometer based gesture control robot. The main goal of
this project is to control the movement of the robot with hand gesture
using accelerometer.
5. IMPACT
• Landmines detection robots in defence sector
• In Complicated surgery, work as helping hand in medical sector
• used in the construction field
• These robotics are used in industries to control trolley and lift.
Ultimately we can say that these technology will provide us a better, safer and
brighter future.it will impact every human being any wherein this UNIVERSE
7. REVENUE MODEL
• The diffusion of unstoppable juggernaut of computational innovations and
artificial intelligence into our lives makes human-computer interaction
(HCI) as the most emphasizing field for the current researchers and
scientists
• This technology is now in the research level but PANTECH SOLUTIONS are
growing this technology at business level
8. RISK & ISSUES!
• Gesture complexity: The biggest obstacle described by
researchers at Linnaeus University is the sheer complexity of physical
gestures; to be effective, their recognition systems need to be able to
gather and recognize thousands of tiny data points and interpret complex
patterns to “understand” what movement is being attempted.
• Accessibility: Gesture recognition systems would likely be developed
to accommodate a “standard” human model, such as a “standard” right
human hand. But Physically handicapped people does not access properly.
9. CONCLUSION
The gesture controlled robotic arm for industrial application is designed and
implemented. The movement is precise, accurate, as well easy to control and
friendly to use.
The robotic arm has been made very carefully and in a detailed manner so
that the
movement of the robot can be controlled accurately. This robotic arm control
method will be
helpful in many aspects to make human life comfortable and easy.
