2. The main components of the solar powered grass
cutter are:
• Solar panels
• Batteries
• Brush less DC motor
• RF remote
• IR sensor
• Blades
• Arduino board
3. INTRODUCTION
• Solar grass cutter is a machine that uses sliding blades
to cut a lawn at an even length.
• The solar grass cutter consists of the photovoltaic
cell for the efficiency power from solar panel.
The DC to DC buck boost converter helps to step up
the DC voltage from the photovoltaic panel and store
the DC voltage in a battery.
• Analysis about the power produced and power
consumed.

6. ARDUINO BOARD
• Arduino is an open-source
electronics platform based
on easy-to-use hardware and
software. Arduino boards
are able to read inputs - light
on a sensor, a finger on a
button, or a Twitter message
- and turn it into an output in
different ways.
7. WIRELESS (RF) CONTROL
• The D.C Motor is controlled by a RF controlled remote control

• We have used IR sensing device to detect the
obstacles. IR sensors consits of a transmitter
