9. What is DSC ?
● Developer Student Clubs are university based
community groups for students interested in
Google developer technologies.
● Students from all undergraduate or graduate
programs with an interest in growing as a
developer are welcome.
10. What is DSC GBPEC ?
● DSC GBPEC is a part of Developer Student
Club, initiative by Google Developers for
expansion of community learning.
● DSC GBPEC is for all students, from various
disciplines at GBPEC campus, with an interest
in learning something new.
15. The following rules need to be followed by the
club:
1. Rules For Good Conduct:
● Need to maintain the decorum and discipline
as per college norms.
● No ragging in any form shall be
promoted/practiced by the members of the
club.
● No smoking, chewing of tobacco,
illegal practices, etc. shall be committed.
16. 2. Rules For Disciplined Behaviour:
● No member shall misbehave with any Faculty
and other staff of the college.
● No member shall misbehave with the DSC Lead
and Core Team members.
● No bunking of classes shall be admissible in
name of club, otherwise, strict actions
against the particular member shall be taken.
17. 3. Rules For Club Events:
● Members shall not be liable to raise funds from
students , for any event.
● Shall not misbehave, in any event, being
conducted by the club online/offline in any form
that could discard the image of the club in any
form.
● The members must abide by each norm as per
the university guidelines, for the college.
19. Whenever you are joining our club’s programs,
then you’re joining a community.
And for any community, few ground rules are
there for expected behavior and mutual benefit
of all.
20. 1. Being nice.
Members are all part of the same community, so they
need to be friendly, welcoming, and generally a nice
person.
2. Being respectful and constructive.
Members must remember to be respectful and
constructive with their communication with fellow
members. They must not get into flame wars, make
personal attacks, vent, or rant unconstructively. Core
Team members should take responsibility for the
community and take the initiative to diffuse tension
and stop a negative thread as early as possible.
21. 3. Being collaborative.
Members must learn to work together. They must share
knowledge, and help each other out.
4. Participate.
Join in on discussions, show up for in-person meetings
regularly, offer feedback, and help implement that
feedback.
5. Basic etiquette for online discussions.
Members must not send messages to a list that only
needs to go to one person. Keep off-topic conversations
to a minimum. Don’t be spammy by advertising or
promoting personal projects which are off-topic.
