Summary of Qualifications:
More than 11 years of experience in managing and providing technical assistance to value chain and
agribusiness development program in Africa and Asia. Area of expertise: designing and leading
value chain upgrading strategies, marketing and sales, improving post-conflict livelihood
opportunities and capacity building for local partners and value chain actors specially women and
youth and managing a data base information’s on all activities.
In addition to USAID, DFID and EU funded project, I have
worked with a variety of other donors and private sector
companies including AGRA (Alliance for Green Revolution in
Africa), Plan International, WFP and ACI-a leading
agribusiness company in Bangladesh. I have also worked
with the sugar mill corporation as a cane development
officer.
My strength lies in holistic analysis of situations-
understanding underlying issues and different perspectives,
visioning and strategy formulation and translation of these
strategies into actionable plans.

healthy, resistant, ecologically-and- economically sound food system development. Stimulate private
enterprise development and build local technical and managerial human resource capacity in
Liberia.

2. As the Program Manager, my responsibilities include providing overall leadership, management, and
technical direction to the entire program; ensuring an integrated vision among different sectors and a
focus on achieving the results to carrying out in a sustainable way. In this period also working on
Vegetables production as backyard gardening under DFID projects, building resilience against Ebola
under USAID projects and backward and forward linkage of farmers production to the market actors.
The Program Manager leading a large team (75 staffs) and serves as the primary liaison between
BRAC and all other counterparts, e.g. program stakeholders, private sector entities, relevant
government agencies, other donors and projects, and BRAC in house management on all program
related matters. The PM invited as a resource person and participants in various seminars /
Workshops on food security and food aid activities, agriculture value chain, M4P by government,
private sector and international agencies in Liberia.

seeds, pesticides, fertilizers and tools. Addressed priority agricultural marketing needs, including
financial and price risk management, policy, planning, and cost and return analysis, business
management, cooperatives, and information and outlook. North Bengal areas (12 districts) were
successfully built the business and established a commercial distribution system.

Partnership marketing approach was followed to sell the agri. products in different community

activities against targets were also updated to supervisor for new thinking of company’s growth.
Project Officer

It was a Homestead Food Production Project (HFPP) funded by Helen Keller International,
Bangladesh. The project aims to reduce the poverty and improve the nutritional status of poor,
vulnerable and marginalized farmers of char areas through homestead vegetables production.
The focus of this work was to strengthen the intersection between indigenous production practices
and modern agricultural science, effective extension services, post harvest handling, and efficient
marketing. Technical training, workshop facilitation, agriculture value chains strengthen and behavior
change through attitude, skill and knowledge (ASK) development was also included as extension
work.
Cane Development Officer
Nitol Sugar Mills Ltd. (SBU of Nitol-Niloy Group),
1 November, 2004 – 20 October 2005 (1 year) | Kishoreganj, Bangladesh
It was sugar production project from locally grown sugarcane. The project objective was to develop
the livelihood of mill zones farmers by growing sugarcane with diversified crop cultivation practice.
Led a technical team worked on the sugarcane production. The team provided capacity development
services to producers group. Among the services provided were competitiveness development,
access to alternative market, training, coaching and access to credit from mill authority was follow up
and ensured.
