INTRODUCTORY SPEECH
FOR MAJOR ISMAIL OTHMAN, RMAF

1. Respected Instructor Lt Col Tom and other officers present; very good
morning to all. I Lt Cdr Iqbal stand before you to take the opportunity of introducing
our good colleague Major Ismail Othman from Royal Malaysian Air Force. Indeed,
it’s my sheer privilege and honor to introduce this gentleman in front of this august
gathering.
2. Ladies and Gentlemen, Maj Ismail was born on 13 October 1985. He is from
Kuntan district located Southern-easter part of Malaysia. He completed High School
and College level examination in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He received Diploma
in accounting from Seberang Perai Polytechnique.
Current Position
3. He joined Royal Malaysian Air Force in 2008 and got promotion to Majaor in
2016. He is a logistics background officer. He did his specialization on ordinance
management in storage and repair for training and operations. Currently he is
working as Commanding Officer at Base administration Terminal, Kuntan Air Base,
located in Northern part of Malaysia.
Appointments
4. Being a versatile and intelligent officer, Maj Ismail served in various capacities
in the Royal Malaysian Air Force. It includes different air depots, units, area, and
headquarters level works. Because of his good name and fame, authority has
appointed him as Commanding Officer of Base Ammunition Terminal.

5. Maj Ismail is well trained officer in his branch. He participated number of

UN Mission
6. Maj Ismail is yet to participate in UN Peacekeeping Mission, but we hope
soon he would participate in UN mission as he is doing UNSOC-23.
His Charming Family
7. He got married with beautiful lady Mrs. Azura in 2010 and she is a housewife.
She is a nice and gentle lady who always inspires and supports him in all spheres of
his life. More so, he is blessed with 3 children who are the major inspiration of his
life.

8. Hobbies. Fishing, Cycling, Travelling, Tiktok
9. Sports. Football, Golf, and Badminton
10. Food. Nagi Kardan- it’s a popular Northern Malaysia fish dish from
Penag.

Future and Objective
10. Since he has joined Malaysian Air Force, he always tries to put his best and
served with dedication and sincerity. He wants to do well in his profession and do
something significant for the betterment of Air Force. He is interested in simple life
and want to maintain a peaceful relation with all. At present his foremost mission is
to lead a healthy life by applying the work-life balance principle.
