2. September 2014 - October 2015
Green Room Design, Birmingham
When working at Green Room I learnt the art of applying retail design to the workplace, I was
fortunate enough to often work on projects from concept to completion.
This would typically entail:
Taking part in brand workshops to tease out brand personality and gain a fuller understanding of the company.
Generating a design scheme which best illustrates the company personality and brand; through sketch work,
space planning, rendered plans and 3D visuals.
Once approved produce a design intent technical drawings package for implementation or tender.
Within my time at Green Room I was also able to work alongside senior designers during conceptual stages of retail
design and gained an extended knowledge of which I have utilised within my workplace design.
November 2012 - September 2014

Whilst working for GW Interiors I gained valuable knowledge of office design, working as the sole designer I was
entrusted with creating design schemes from the conceptual stages right through to completion. My duties at GW

agile workplace unique to them and their needs.
Further duties included:
Creating conceptual, idea provoking presentations to guide the client through initial ideas of their office design.
Working closely with the client to curb designs to best suit their needs and take into consideration future
developments within their company stature.
Encapsulate designs in the form of sketch work, 3D modelling, rendered drawings and a working drawings
packages.
Maintaining a good working relationship with the client throughout the project through regular communication
and site visits.
