Class Lectures Power Points will be posted on blackboard. LecturesTextbook will
supplement Power Points.
Course Objectives:
Developmental Psychology is the study of behavioral change across the lifespan. In
this course, we will focus on developmental changes that take place from conception
through childhood. We will examine several aspects of these changes including the
major milestones of development in various domains, classic and modern theories of
development, and approaches to research in developmental psychology.
Requirements/Grading:
Exams: There will be four exams given: These exams will cover the material in the
assigned textbook and lectures.
Your three highest exam grades will be averaged and a percentage grade will be
calculated. . NO make-ups will be given since lowest grade is being dropped.
Cheating:
Academic dishonesty of any form will not be tolerated. Penalties for cheating can
range from a failing grade for an assignment or exam to a failing grade in the course.

Turn cell phones off or set to vibrate, no texting as it is disruptive to other students.
Attendance:
Regardless of your attendance, you are responsible for knowing EVERYTHING that
was covered in class. This includes any changes made to the syllabus. Arriving late
to class is disruptive to your classmates. Please arrive to class on time.
