Backup Options Overview
• The router will use a dynamic routing protocol or other
mechanism to determine that the primary access has
failed
• The backup access will be activated (if required)
• Traffic will then be sent over the backup access

MPLS over Wireless Data
Wireless data access fills a gap between high priced or low speed solutions and it provides true diversity from traditional
wireline (loop-based) services.

Notes de l'éditeur
We were a pioneer in the early days of the Internet with dial up, and since then have continuously evolved in response to our business customers needs; from nationwide broadband to integrated voice + data to private network, and now to cloud and managed services.
We offer a broad portfolio of services that are really building blocks for creating solutions based on what our customers need. By offering services that extend from the application layer all the way down to the network layer, we can take a cohesive, integrated approach to creating and deploying solutions, with a focus on minimizing cost while ensuring security, reliability, performance, and seamless deploments.
We have deep expertise supporting businesses of all sizes and across industries. This is key, as it allows us to understand and help to solve the industry-specific challenges facing our customers, from compliance and security to cost pressures.
I won’t go into great depth here as you’re already deploying EarthLink as a backup network. I’d just like to make you aware of our nationwide capabilities, now that Deltacom is part of EarthLink. I will also be here to answer any questions that arise during that part of the presentation. With a capital budget of $115-130M, we continue make significant investments that enhance the reach, uptime, security, and reliability of our network, such as extending the edge of our network to be closer to our customers, shortening the last mile. What this means SPECIFICALLY to STI:Of SunTrust’s 1700 locations, we have coverage for all but 60 -density where STI footprint is -fiber route miles where STI footprint is -redundancy where STI footprint is -Backup MPLS network with QoS over DSL, same reliability/functionality as primary
Carrier Grade / Best in class SIP infrastructure overlay to our nationwide network
Auto reroute can be per DID granular. Can point to regular ANIs or TFs
