1. Industrial Engineer Vacancy Ref 1404-30
We are currently searching for a competent Industrial Engineer to optimise the strip down repair
overhaul refurbish and re-assembly processes on heavy vehicles.
Qualified in Lean Manufacturing and Project Management the Methods Engineering Job will require
you to have experience in
 Manufacturing operations, implementation, or optimisation,
 Supporting cycle time improvement projects,
 Management,
 Operating manufacturing equipment,
 Tooling design,
 Manufacturing processes,
 Factory capabilities,
 Resources planning,
 Lead-time and cost improvement techniques,
 Managing multiple projects and programs,
 Planning and organisation,
Salary level from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum and commutable from Bedford, Northampton,
Kettering, Rugby, Huntingdon, St Neots, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard,
Brackley, Banbury, Towcester this role will give you the opportunity to;
 Support the operations function to improve existing process
 Devise new assembly processes working with area leadership
 Assist order management with operational flow through the factory
 Interface with design / product engineering on product specifications, CARs, and feasibility
studies.
 Support the production network with CAPEX projects and strategic initiatives, pull flow line
and business improvements
 Optimise the production sequence / process and pull flow line initiatives.
 Define the 'how to' for unique and special processes or components
 Develop procedures/ work instructions / SOP's
 Support development & implementation of new manufacturing technologies and TOT
(Transfer of Technology)
 Support manufacturing R&D projects and programs
 Assist CAPEX program management
 Qualify of manufacturing processes
 Gather Data for productivity analysis

2.  Review and modify production standards
 Review production orders for correctness of instructions and tools
