To Whom It May Concern
Seth Naicker of indiAfrique training and development has been associated with the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation since 2010. Seth was
identified and then requested to speak at the "150 years legacy" event which commemorated the trial, toil and labor of indentured
laborers in South Africa. The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation was involved in managing this event, and Seth served us as a speaker with
his passion, vibrancy and professional as he reflected upon the concerns of, and for emerging leaders and youth.
In October 2010 Seth was contracted to the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation in a consulting capacity as the Director of youth
services. Seth helped launch and create a solid foundation for the youth work focus of the Foundation that has grown steadily into a
movement of youth who are embracing non-racialism as a way of life.
We together embarked on a series of dialogues designed to engage in non-racialism. Seth designed, developed and delivered the
dialogue series on non-racialism, which allowed for us to engage with youth at high schools, emerging leaders and adult youth at
University, and with youth and adults leaders in a community dialogue in the South of Johannesburg.
Seth also took the lead on managing three social cohesion events viz. a movie viewing and conversation that consider taking action for
positive community change, a community event "Celebrating the arts", which brought together artists who have created works that speak
to social change and they themselves activists for social change, and a "Night of dance", which brought young people into a fun
atmosphere utilizing music that spoke to social change.
Seth has served the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation through his passion for youth, reconciliation and transformation, and together we have
accomplished and established some insightful events and processes that has made positive impact in the social cohesion and
transformation arena.
I am able to comfortably affirm the work, commitment and careful thought that Seth has displayed in going about his consulting work with
the Foundation. Seth is a determined, creative, and caring person, and his energy and vibrancy serves him well within the public space
of facilitation, speaking and integrating social cohesion engagement, and processes.
I am confident that Seth will serve your organization and its efforts with excellence, and we are glad to commend Seth to you and your
organization as a committed mobilizer, activator, and facilitator of social change and transformation that informs nation building and
eradicates racism.
Yours sincerely
