The document describes a lesson plan created by Shamin Wasim Khan for teaching 1st grade students about nouns, proper nouns, and common nouns. The lesson plan uses questioning techniques and the 5E instructional model (engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate). Students will work in groups to sort pictures into boxes labeled "proper noun" and "common noun." They will then share their sorting with the class and individually write examples on the whiteboard. The goal is for students to understand that common nouns refer generally to people, places, or things, while proper nouns specifically name a person, place, or thing.

Commentary on lesson you have planned:
I have use questioning technique and 5Es Model.
Questioning techniques are an important part of classroom instruction. It is used to
develop critical thinking skills in students. A properly questions can cause students to
reflect on their responses.
5Es Model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate)
Engage helps students reflect on what they already know and ask questions
about what they don’t yet understand.
Explore helps students to unpack the problems, develop a model and gather
data.
Explain involve students in a carousel discussion and into a problem solving.
Elaborate involve students in a conceptual understanding and the incredibly
valuable concept-to-self, concept-to-concept and concept-to-world
connections and analysis their experiences.
Evaluate it means reflecting critically on the investigative process, the
hypothesis and student learning outcomes.
