• Managing hardware development and support activity:
 Develop and update operating procedures and work Instructions for the: Designing
for Manufacturability; Design for Testability; Design for Reliability; Failure Mode
Effect Analysis; Worst case analyses; Tolerance analyses; hardware development life
cycle methodology (MileStone process).
 Directing and verification of the EMC/EMI/ESD compliance, Environmental,
Mechanical, Safety tests according UL, IEC and ANSI standards for

managers to generate product Technical Requirement Specifications (TRS). TRS
includes, not limited to: electrical, software, interface, mechanical, environmental,
EMI/EMC, compliance to UL, ANSI, IEC standards, cost, materials,
manufacturability, testing (including production) requirements.
 Circuit Design: Design Analog/Digital circuits, including microcontrollers and
FPGAs. Worst case, tolerance, reliability, stress, thermal, cost analyses. Material
selection working closely with SCM department. Conducting simulations.
Generating and updating design documentations.
 PCB layout: Directing PCB layout design by 3d party. Conducting Hyperlynx
Signal/Power integrity simulation, signal integrity DRC on the PCB layout files
before going to PCB production. Conducting Design for manufacturability,
testability, thermal, mechanical stress analyses.
 Documentation: Generate/update all design documentations, not limited to: design
technical documents, design description, analyses reports, and production tests
specifications.

• Developed Load measurement portable device for Boeing: developed digital/analog hardware,
switching power supplies, image processing VHDL code, firmware for Bar Code reading
subsystem, which includes camera chip , NTSC/PAL/SECAM to YCbCr video decoder from
Analog devices, ProASIC3 family flash FPGA from Actel, Renesas 32-Bit RISC
Microcontroller SH7211, SRAM and SRAM (see DESIGNED PRODUCTS).
• Developed hardware interface system, with implementing reverse engineering, between Load
measurement device and Atlas-Copco torque device. This system is implemented and running in
John-Deer tractor factory (see DESIGNED PRODUCTS).
• JPEG compression device by implementation of Xilinx FPGAs.
