Shane has made a great start to the placement. In difficult circumstances we have stopped Asthma research
and switched to COVID. She has worked well in the lab within the team. There has been extensive training in
Quality management policies, Lab SOPs, UHL mandatory training, GCP and HTA. She has completed most of the
laboratory training record except sputum processing.
We will continue to collect and process COVID samples until the end of the lockdown in March.
