3. The mobile generation is having a negative effect on
newspapers and magazines as breaking news can be
accessed more and more quickly online.
In this innovation, Billboard looked to link their music
loving readers with a physical copy of their latest
magazine. By plugging your iphone into the „Fan check
machine‟, this allowed it to access your music and check
whether or not the fan had over 20 tracks of the current
cover artist. Those who had received a copy of the
magazine for FREE!

4. A Four Year Olds Bucket List
Water is Life
People normally start to think about ticking things off
their 'bucket list' i.e. list of things they wish to do before
they die, as they get older and believe that time is
running out. However, Nkaitole was recently able to
experience every single thing he has ever wished for (so
far), at the tender age of four.
The good news is that the young boy is not sick or
dying. He was picked for this project by New York-based
advertisement agency DDB for a campaign for the
'Water is Life' organization, to depict the dire issues
faced by children in third world countries like Kenya from
lack of something we all take for granted - Clean water.
According to the organization, one in five children that
live in the rural areas of most third world regions, die
before the age of five from water borne diseases.
Hopefully, Nkaitole is not going to be part of that
statistic and will live a life long enough to experience an
entirely new bucket list - One that is equally fun!
5. Dance Dictionary
Puma
The Puma Dance Dictionary was created by Grey London to
push the brand's new Sync fragrances, this allows users to
select words and phrases which are then translated into
dance moves by freestyle performers right here.
Of course these can then be shared with friends via social
media. This may or may not get a lot of shares and traction
but there is no doubt about the talent of the performers.
6. Jump for Derrick Rose
Adidas
Brilliantly simple idea from Adidas Basketball, Derrick Rose is
a much celebrated Chicago Bulls basketball star. To celebrate
his new basketball shoe collection Adidas opened the D Rose
Jump Store in London.
The unique store gave fans the chance to win a pair of the
shoes, all they had to do was pick them off a shelf, seems
simple except the shelf was ten feet from the ground which
in case you didn‟t know is the typical height from the ground
of a basketball rim.
This beautifully shot video captures the simplicity of the idea
and provides for some light entertainment at the same time.
Hundreds of people descended on Hackney to be in with a
chance to meet the star and win the shoes.
7. Everyone has unwanted clothes they wore once or twice
and maybe not at all. As a result clothes collections take
pace across the world for different charities.
In this case BRMalls Shopping mall (VillaLobos) in São
Paulo, Brazil, acknowledges this and puts a spin on the
concept. Its recent Winter Clothing Drive campaign,
where consumers are encouraged to “bring clothes to
the shop instead of taking them away from the shop.”
Stylists man the shop each day creating fashionable
displays of donated goods in order to encourage people
to bring clothing that is in good condition. All donated
clothing is unloaded from the store each evening,
leaving an empty shop for the process to begin again
each morning.
