This document is a webquest for students exploring how mathematics is used in daily life and careers outside of the classroom. Students research different ways math is applied in real world situations and careers. They then present their findings to the class, explaining why learning math is important and how it provides valuable skills for life and various jobs. The goal is to show students that math learned in school has practical applications, not just in careers directly using math, but in daily life activities as well.

Mathematics is used in many different areas and situations. You do not necessarily have to be a mathematician or math teacher to use math in your career as you probably discovered.
