An international, privately held home health care company. Clients include Children and Adults with
neuromuscular and cognitive disorders.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a successful, high-performing leadership team.
Work in tandem with the Veterans Administration to provide home care for our mutual clients.
Strategically plan and budget for increased growth by directing new outreach strategies for the recruitment of
field staff and new clients. Developed and implemented a record-breaking recruitment approach that
surpassed company goals within the first quarter of the year for the onboarding of new staff.
Monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by office and field staff to ensure
compliance.
Successfully reorganized office operations, including the significant improvement of client services, the
development of new staff training and orientation curriculum. Led office to a 99% quality assurance rating for
the first time.

JASA Senior Center, Suffolk Y JCC-Program management consultant for the elderly and those with Alzheimer’s
and Dementia and Disabled Veterans, temporary management of Meals on Wheels, county communal lunch
programs, and all county transportation services for JASA during the summer of 2015.
The Book Fairies, Freeport, NY –Developed and created organization strategic plan for a school based literacy
outreach program. Provided diverse consulting services including development of organizational vision and mission,
fundraising support, grant writing, network development, program design, board governance development, staff
training, and event planning.

FRIEDBERG JCC — Oceanside, NY
A Community Center that serves the educational and social needs of Long Island’s south shore communities with
programs and vitally needed services.
Oversaw and administered the day-to-day JCC business operations of a 12 million dollar operating budget
agency, including agency strategic directions, developing and managing department and agency fiscal
services, all youth, young adult, adult and older adult programs and departments’ budgets ranging in size
from $100,000 to over $1 million annually. Supervised the facility manager, all capital improvements, large
2. scale repairs, vendor contracts and the fleet supervisor.
Led all agency training, initial onboarding, and ongoing mentoring to retain and develop highly effective JCC
staff and volunteer leadership.
Provided daily leadership, policy clarification, supervision, and operative direction to all departmental
directors including the CFO, and Human Resources team. Developed and trained all staff on emergency
protocols and all safety procedures.
Creator of the EZRA Center for People with Disabilities with UJA-Federation of NY, and the Butler
Foundation. Generated and developed all JCC mental and behavioral health programs, and had direct
oversight of all social workers.
Established the JCC’s Parents Resource Network in collaboration with the Horace Hagedorn Foundation, the
Rauch Foundation, and other key Long Island organizations.
Direct supervision of all JCC satellite sites, summer camps, programs for people with disabilities, and all
social service programs. Functioned as agency liaison to the Department of Health, and OPWDD.
Acted as the lead representative of the JCC to the community and the press in the CEO’s absence.
Successfully raised over $500,000 annually for the Sunrise Day Camp for Children with Cancer through
strategically planned carefully executed and well promoted walk-a-thons, which generated an overwhelming
response from new prospects, young volunteers, and seasoned donors.
Oversaw all marketing, website development, and social media outreach associated with Sunrise Day Camp
walk-a-thons resulting in a 30% increase in new walkers.
Implemented newly-instituted Health, Membership, Wellness, and Aquatics program; oversaw General
Manager, departmental/membership metrics and $500,000 annual program budget.
Associate Executive Director 1995–2001
SOUTH SHORE YM-YWHA — Oceanside, NY
A non-profit community center serving a diverse population with social and educational enrichment programs for
children, youth, and adults.
Managed daily operations of $3 million Community Center. Oversaw all off site services, adults with
disabilities programs, summer day camps, and adult services department. Produced new branding, media
promotions and ultimately enhanced organization membership services.
Provided leadership to board and staff committee charged with oversight of building a new, full-service
58,000 square foot community center in Oceanside.
Served as primary liaison to other Long Beach community organizations. Managed the delivery of quality
services across a network of offsite programs. Created and solicited funding for volunteer programs.
Created new adult volunteer development based services model and several state of the art intergenerational
programs and services. Oversight of all special events, volunteers, lay leaders, and all NY State legislative and
UJA-Federation of NY grants.
Successfully spearheaded fundraising efforts to grow agency budget from $500,000 to over $3 million
annually through development and implementation of new revenue generating programs, cultivation of key
donors, recruitment of new board members, and the solicitation of foundation and NY State program grants.
