● Tailor your resume to the job if you can
● Don’t lie or embellish your knowledge
● Highlight what you did and how it made a difference
a. “Worked in a small team using latest testing methodologies to help end-to-end testing of our product”
b. “Our team leveraged data-driven testing to and caught 10% more bugs before they reached the customer”
Things I look far:
● Experience in or around the technology
● Doesn’t always have to be exact i.e. C++/Java/C# and OOP
● A degree or experience showing you are capable of learning in this area
● Doesn’t have to be CS-related, but it helps
● Experience trumps degree
● If you have experience – progression / improvement
