Introduction  Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology headquartered in Cupertino, California.  Apple was founded by Steve Jobs on April 1st 1976, to develop and sell personal computers.  Its products include the iPhone, smartphone, the iPad tablet computer, the Mac personal computer, and the iPod portable media player.  Apple is the world‘s largest information technology company by revenue, and the world's third-largest mobile phone manufacturer.  Apple has 453 retail stores in 16 countries.

Recent Innovation  Apple announced the all-new Apple TV, bringing a revolutionary experience to the living room based on apps built for the television.  Apps on Apple TV let people choose what to watch and when you watch it.  The new Apple TV’s remote features Siri, so people can search with their voice for TV shows and movies across multiple content providers simultaneously.  The all-new Apple TV is built from the ground up with a new generation of high-performance hardware and introduces an intuitive and fun user interface using the Siri Remote.

Contd…  The new Siri Remote dramatically simplifies while people select, scroll and navigate through their favourite content while bringing unique interactivity to the new Apple TV by using a glass touch surface.  Apple TV runs the all-new TV OS operating system, based on Apple’s IOS, enabling millions of IOS developers to create innovative new apps and games specifically for Apple TV and deliver them directly to users through the new Apple TV app store.  With Siri, people can use their voice to search TV shows and movies by title, genre, cast, crew, rating or popularity.

  13. 13. Opportunities Ahead…  Growth of tablet and smartphone markets.  Advertisement: The recent launch of the iRadio does lay the foundation for a solid Apple ad exchange. Advertisers will be able to use Apple’s user data and purchase patterns to lay out ads on iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks.  Expand services further: Apple can add fewer version of subscription or ad-supported video streaming content which will lead to more revenues.  Newer and existing products: Apple can generate more revenue from emerging markets for iPhone and iPad products.
