A bit less bs helps. I don’t like it when people call me an expert. Quite frankly, I don’t think I'm an expert in anything. “In the beginner's mind, there are many possibilities, in the expert's mind there are few.” (Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind, Shunryu Suzuki). Don’t get me wrong, I work hard. I always have and enjoy what I do. And I might know a few things about marketing, data analytics, and Social Media. But I'm also self-aware enough to know most of our ideas are copied and excellent execution is always a team effort. And how do we truly know it wasn’t luck after all? Yet there are many experts out there. Probably Googling away like all of us. I think a bit less bs makes the world a happier place.
