3. Project Description Global General Ledger is the accounting book in which all the entries relating to the
financial transactions are made. GGL serves as the common General Ledger of UBS.
The primary function of the GGL is to provide for a common approach to accounting
and reporting for various operational activities of UBS. Besides, it also facilitates the
tracking of certain Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Vendor, Fixed Assets and
Cost Centre. The GGL primarily includes the SAP R/3 and SAP BW and several other
custom developed systems.
In the project Finance IT Test Support, we provide test services to all GGL
applications and over all testing environment management.
Software/Tools: Unix, SQL, ORACLE-10g, Autosys, Informatica, TOAD, Axiom Controller view,
WCC(Workload Control Center), Service Now, HP Quality Centre, JIRA.
Role/Responsibility As part of GGL Testing Team, we Support the Finance Test Execution activities on a
24*5 basis to GLOBAL GENERAL LEDGER (GGL) suite of applications as given below:
Conduct unit testing and batch testing
Batch monitoring via Autosys/Wcc/Informatica tools.
Environment Management of Pre-Production and Test environments. Both
environments are used to test the new changes which will be implemented
to PROD system as part of Quarterly/Monthly release.
Interact with the development team to understand the
requirements in detail
Preparation of UAT plan for Quarterly release and as per specific project
requirement, which required front to back testing and environment
availability.
Managing space and other environment details in order to replicate
PRODUCTION environment scenario in UAT.
Review and baseline test cases and scripts.
Preparing DB/Autosys Refresh plan and coordinating with oracle or exa-
data team to take necessary DB backups of production database and
apply same to UAT as a part of Database refresh activity.
Takes snapshot of DB links available in a database pre-refresh and creates
same DB links for post database refresh.
Arrange for test data (copying input data from various sources)
Execute tests as per plan (test request)
Document test results, and log defects for failed cases. Retest the defect
fixes. Track the defects to closure
Prepare the test environment for UAT/Regression testing
Understand the additional requirements in UAT/Regression testing
Prepare Test closure report by providing relevant logs and output data
Pro-actively monitor the test environment and perform housekeeping
Escalate the UAT defects to relevant developments and follow up to closure
Provide timely updates to requestor and related parties on the testing status
Assist in RCA by providing additional information for failures to development
teams
Proper usage & creation of Knowledge articles to resolve issues in shorter

Project Description The Product Integration Management (PIM) project deals with one of the highest
revenue generated Microsoft’s Order Management (OM) platform. Order
Management platform will deal with the applications that sells Microsoft’s products
online in retail manner. Management of database includes creating databases,
writing stored procedures and functions, correcting data, taking backups,
synchronization between different servers via log shipping, replication and clustering
using SQL Server 2008.
Software/Tools: SQL Server 2008, SQL DB, Microsoft Red stapler tool, IBM-Maximo, VSTF and DOMO.
Role/Responsibility I am a key member in this team and offshore Subject matter expert. This project
involves providing support in 24*5 environments.
My responsibilities include Configuring the change requests from Business
and Solution Delivery teams like on boarding new Countries, SKUs, Stores,
Promo codes, Vouchers, VAT rates to production.
Supporting Production releases, Sprints, UAT testing in Lower and
Production environments. Fixing the production issues and deploying the
fixes to production.
Supporting the Microsoft Partners by giving them resolutions for the
production issues.
Providing reports on Demand. Apart from that I also does the application
analysis and also writes knowledge base articles which are helpful resources
for the rest of the team.
Running the SQL Jobs if any SQL job failures are reported.
Managing Taxware updates on UAT and Production environments.

which leverages Check & Cash deposits Processing and Settlement. Images of the
Deposits are transferred over a network are verified and validated for its integrity
before they are routed for settlement. Objective of the project is to provide end to
end business, technical support of the application
