2. My name is Stacy Dwayne Reescano Jr. I am from Houston, Tx originally but I have overseen operations in
Japan and Korea prior to coming here to Mississippi which is when I separated with from the Air Force
with an Honorable Discharge of 6 yrs. My background is Logistics full circle. Meaning, I have worked with
booking travel from air, sea, train and bus. I have been responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound
shipping operations as well as deciding contracts and correcting/writing contracts and other
documentation for specific shipments, contractors and travel agents. Lastly, I worked with household
goods including storage where I counseled many active duty members on duties and responsibilities of
shipping. I have also worked for Stennis Space Center at the NASA Space Station base here in Mississppi
where my primary job was to facilitate, proofread and correct budgeting documents before presenting to
our board of directors weekly, quarterly and annually. Along side this, I have also been the sole researcher
for documents, regulations and standards of procedures for Cargo Management/Mobility/Household
Good shipments.
Upon completion of my enlistment in the USAF on June 2019, I have since transitioned to t he
private sector where I worked for Stennis Space Center in my previous position as an Inventory
Management Controller and in the USAF as a “Transportation Systems Management
Operations”. To hone my skills for future freelance prospects, it was essential that I become
proficient in the field of Logistics full circle both in terms of operations and customer service
aspects. I was fortunate to have had several remarkable leaders/supervisors who made sure I
acquired a broad range of skills including logistical research, asset management and shipment
archiving as well as customer counseling/document processing. Knowing that the skills that I
was in possession of a unique and technical set of abilities that were very important to the
smooth operation and effectiveness of this position of Logistics Specialist, I managed to learn
all that was necessary for this career field at my specific rank as an E-4. I have also worked with
social media with regards to sharing info on travelling for those who utilize military Space A
(Patriot Express) which is offered to those with families within TSMO. I am certain and
confident that I will become a most productive member and I look forward to the continued
growth in the department of wherever my logistical prowess and intellect can take me thus far.
