Hello everyone, my name is Audrius, Rimvydas stands besides me, Martynas is back in Lithuania together with 5000 user community.
Toostis is all and only about real events. That’s it. Our definition is an experience together with other people. So basically we say – you need other people to have event.
People need entertainment. Wouldn’t it be great to have all activity options in one place? You can Google it, but it really takes time, and social networks are inconvienent and sooo overfunctioned. And you get no information about your friend invest on commercial event sites.
You do need other people for many activities and hobbies of yours. Like freesbee, breakdancing, flashmobs, winterswimming
Apart from sightseeing or laying in a beach, travellers want to have local culture experiences and meet local people. A very good way to do this is to find some local events and attend them, only finding is not so easy, because you do not have friends there yet and you do not know the language.
Now, really – is this your best weekend option? Yeah, I know, it’s a geek event, but common guys – think twice! We are scared and sad, that people are shifting towards online-living-creatures. It is comfortable to create an event, invite people (from toostis, networks, Gmail contacts) and organize it. And again, community (your contacts) is important, because it knows best, what events you would like to attend, so you can build and develop it.
