ACHIEVEMENTS – CAREER AND PERSONAL
• Implemented a Behavioural Accident Prevention Process as Facilitator subsequently
responsible achieving a reduction of 30% in the accident rate in its first year
• Improved the safety culture as part of the business safety team to an extent that a rating by a
third party audit as the safest business unit in the entire UK Metals Sector was achieved
• Implemented Loadsafe Transport controls that have made the Brinsworth Transport System one
that other sites have bench marked against
• Developed and Implemented the 5 Step Risk Management process which included the 4 What’s
Point of Work Risk Assessment Process and Standard Operating Procedures
• Completing the London Marathon in 2002 and raising £1000 for a colleagues hospital bill was a
