The Oberoi Gurgaon, Food and beverage supervisor – Banquet Operations 2013-Present
 Oberoi Gurgaon convention facilities include two ball rooms, ten meeting rooms and
landscaped gardens, which make for an ideal conference destination and can accommodate
20 to 1,000 guests. The venues feature comprehensive support and technology to cater to the
most demanding presentation and communication requirements.
 I am responsible for the banqueting operations at the iconic Oberoi Gurgaon. My
responsibility includes directing and motivating team while personally assisting in providing
high quality service based on requirements and standards.
 As Food and beverage supervisor I monitor and control financial and administrative
responsibilities including asset protection and provide clear and concise communications to
everyone having ownership in the success of an event. I need to connect with guests, detail
events, upsell products and services, be detailed orientated and have a working knowledge of
catering and event management systems.

 The Oberoi Gurgaon won the World’s Best Luxury Hotel award at the World Travel Awards
2012.
 As the food and beverage assistant, my job role included maintaining an optimum manpower
and supplies level, providing excellent services to guests, ensuring restaurant furniture and
equipment are functional and well equipped.
 Maintained guest scores above 90% after opening in April 2011 and an excellent LQA (Leading
Quality Assurance) score of 92.70%.
 One of the finest products with more than 10 brands of champagne on Sunday Brunch.
 I needed to ensure that regular, on-going two-way communication occurs in the outlet (e.g.
pre-meal briefings, staff meetings, communication with culinary team, engineering and front
office).
Sheraton New Delhi hotel, Food and beverage Assistant –Baywatch Coffee shop 2009-2010
 My responsibility included that all team members receive appropriate and ongoing training to
successfully perform their job and to further their development within the food & beverage
division.
 I needed to ensure that regular, on-going two-way communication occurs in the outlet (e.g.
pre-meal briefings, staff meetings, communication with culinary team, engineering and front
office).

 Two year in Guest Service Management (GSM) with focus on careers in two main guest
contact departments; Food and Beverage Service and Front Office. The programme included
studies in Rooms Division management, Food and Beverage management, Sales and
Marketing, Financial management and Human Resource management.
 Trained at the Clarks hotel ,Varanasi (6 months)
Vinoba bhave University, Bachelor of commerce 2004-2010
 Completed Bachelor of commerce degree (Account honors).
 Pursued along with the hotel management course.

 Passed with an aggregate of 60% marks from Birla J.J commerce Inter college, Jharkhand

 Successfully held the HAI conference and Ministry of External Affairs conference for the year
2013 with special appreciation from the General Manager.
 Threesixtyone restaurant has won the HT City Crystals Award 2011 – People Choice for
Delhi/NCR and has been recommended by Vir Sanghvi. It has also won four awards at the
Times City Life award, 2011.
 Awarded with 2nd rank in the Ultimate bartender workshop held in ITC Maurya, New Delhi.
 Champion of champions in The Oberoi, Gurgaon for achieving the highest number of guest
comments card in a month (25 comment cards).
 Champion of food and beverage (Twice).
