This document summarizes the community efforts in Mulranny, Ireland to revitalize their village through sustainable initiatives between 2011-2019. It discusses how (1) a community survey in 2010 led to the formation of dynamic groups focused on tourism, the environment, and more. This engaged over 30 new volunteers. (2) Efforts such as restoring heritage sites, developing trails and parks, and creating a pedestrian-friendly downtown helped boost tourism. (3) The community embarked on sustainable programs like adopting a GreenPlan, becoming a Sustainable Energy Community with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, and hosting educational events on renewable energy and home retrofitting.
