• What is Cloud?
Simply put, cloud computing is the delivery of computing services—servers,
storage, databases, networking, software, analytics and more—over the Internet
(“the cloud”).
• Private Cloud
On or off premises cloud infra operated solely for org and managed by the org or
third party.(single ownership and internal use)
• Public Cloud
Available to public or large industry group and owned by an org selling cloud
services (single ownership but external use)
• Hybrid
The use of private and public cloud connected through the use of technology, but
still remain as separate entities.

 Customer is responsible for infrastructure
 Customized security control as per customers need
 Good visibility to daily operations
 Easy to access logs and policies
Application and data remain inside the firewall
• Public Cloud
 Provider is responsible for infrastructure
 Security control is as per the requirements of provides
 No visibility to daily operations
 Difficult to access logs and policies
 Application and data are publically exposed
