Celebrate
Life…..Happy
Birthday
Whitney
Years
ago
I
could
remember
this
little
petite
girl
taking
the
stage
at
the
Paradise
Garage
with
her
sneakers
and
matching
head
and
wrist
bands
and
singing
like
only
few
had
ever
done
on
that
stage.
She
won
the
hearts
of
many
who’d
probably
until
that
night
hadn’t
even
heard
of
her
being
it
was
very
very
early
on
in
what
became
an
illustrious
career.
In
2009,
the
Guinness
World
Records
cited
her
as
the
most
awarded
female
act
of
all
time.
Houston
was
one
of
the
world's
best-‐selling
music
artists,
having
sold
over
200
million
records
worldwide.
And
who
ever
knew
that
this
young
lady
making
all
of
us
dance
would
ever
make
a
record
called
"I
Will
Always
Love
You",
that
would
eventually
become
the
best-‐selling
single
by
a
female
artist
in
music
history?
But
in
1963
a
child
was
born
given
the
name
Whitney
Houston
in
what
was
then
a
middle-‐income
neighborhood
in
Newark,
New
Jersey,
the
second
child
of
Army
serviceman
and
entertainment
executive
John
Russell
Houston,
Jr.
and
gospel
singer
the
great
Cissy
Houston.
She
had
two
older
brothers,
Gary
Garland,
who
was
also
a
singer,
and
Michael
Houston.
Her
mothers
cousins
Dionne
Warwick
and
Dee
Dee
Warwick,
godmother
Darlene
Love
and
honorary
aunt
the
legendary
Aretha
Franklin
were
all
notable
figures
in
the
gospel,
rhythm
and
blues,
pop,
and
soul
genres.
One
would
assume
perfect
guardians
but
we
live
in
a
world
that’s
not
perfect
at
all
and
we
should
never
for
one
second
under
estimate
not
any
respected
person
in
our
direct
lives.

In
particularly
those
who
might
just
even
if
we
don’t
see
it
at
that
particular
time
know
better
than
us,
because
they’ve
probably
been
down
the
same
roads.
I
don’t
want
to
get
into
anything
negative
about
Whitney’s
life
at
all
because
truthfully
I
honestly
do
believe
it
ran
the
course
that
it
did
because
of
Gods
will.
No
matter
who
you
are
fortune
or
fame
and
the
limelight
all
takes
a
back
seat
when
it
comes
down
to
Gods
will.
And
take
into
consideration
her
last
physical
work
for
us
to
have
in
regards
to
her
acting
is
that
of
a
concern
mother
of
three
young
women
in
the
movie
Sparkle
a
role
in
which
she
for
one
second
didn’t
even
seem
as
if
she
was
acting.
It
was
almost
like
she
was
reliving
in
the
movie
what
mother
Sissy
had
been
living
for
years
worrying
about
her
own
precious
baby
almost
like
a
real
live
rerun.
On
February
11th
2012
she
was
gone
but
two
days
earlier
in
her
last
public
appearance
she
sang
Jesus,
Loves
Me
how
ironic
a
song
for
her
to
sing
and
her
last
messages
to
millions
of
her
adoring
fans.
The
lyrics
(seen
below)
are
quite
simple
and
although
many
will
attempt
to
ignore
them
in
there
everyday
lives
we’ve
all
been
anointed
to
simply
listen
with
not
only
our
ears
but
with
our
hearts.
Jesus
loves
me!
This
I
know,
For
the
Bible
tells
me
so;
Little
ones
to
Him
belong;
They
are
weak,
but
He
is
strong.
God
eventually
does
provide
rest
and
comfort
for
the
weary
but
we
all
should
be
very
comfortable
with
our
responsibility
to
be
supportive
of
those
even
in
the
times
that
many
will
turn
there
backs
on
them.
I
remember
for
so
many
years
so
many
people
tease
and
publicly
ridiculed
Whitney
but
the
funny
thing
about
it
is
for
me
every
single
time
I
saw
her
no
matter
where,
whether
it
was
a
Grammy
Award
show
or
movie
I
saw
or
once
being
lucky
enough
to
even
go
into
a
studio
with
the
legendary
David
Cole
to
see
her.
She
simply
to
me
always
look
like
that
little
girl
I
saw
on
the
stage
of
the
Paradise
Garage
decades
before
almost
dancing
on
that
stage
with
that
cute
little
sweat
suit
and
matching
wrist
and
head
band
set.
We’ll
all
go
through
trials
and
tribulations
in
our
lifetimes
and
may
possibly
have
supportive
people
there
to
catch
us
if
we
fall.
But
today
I
am
asking
that
everyone
in
remembrance
of
Whitney’s
life
and
anyone
special
you
may
have
lost
be
supportive
of
those
who
may
be
weak,
and
might
not
be
as
strong
as
you
may
have
even
remembered
them
to
be
in
your
past.
Always
celebrate
those
who
are
dear
to
your
heart
and
never
have
any
regrets
tomorrow
about
what
you
may
have
probably
been
able
to
do
to
be
supportive
today.
Celebrate
Life….Happy
Birthday
