  1. 1. LinkedIn Profile Checklist - 2020 Use a Banner image showing your uniqueness. Have a bright & cheerful LinkedIn Profile Picture Tell your target audience who you are in your Headline. Use target audience relevant Keywords Use the Open to Work Feature, if you are open. Focus the first 2 Sentences of your About Section on your target audience. Then keep telling keyword rich stories about who you are and what you do/can do for your target audience. Show accomplishments when you can.   2. 2. LinkedIn Profile Checklist - 2020 Use the Featured Section to add content relevant to who you are and to your target audience. Pay attention to your Dashboard. Measure what is important. Add your Current Employer, if applicable. Add role & target audience relevant keywords for your Title (vs only the HR assigned title) Tell stories using keywords that show your target audience what you do for them. If you want to advise others, adjust this accordingly. (if you have this option enabled) No activity Section means you haven’t shared or engaged on LinkedIn in the past 45 days. Add your Higher Education experiences only. Populate your Skills section with up to 50 Relevant Skills. Strip out the old irrelevant skills Pin the Top 3 to the top of the Skills Section. Don’t stress out about Endorsements. They are not overly important. Add relevant Licenses & Certifications showing your target audience you keep learning & growing. Be willing to Recommend others, where relevant & appropriate. All of the possible LinkedIn Profile Sections will be listed under the Add profile Section at the top of your LinkedIn Profile page. Add them with purpose focused on your business/career goals.
