THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 14)
TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT
Happy New Year to you. It’s been a while. We have been studying the theme “Knowing the Real
God” for quite some time. We concluded that the purpose of eternal life dwelling in us is to
grant us the ability to know God and be united with Him in nature and deeds (1 John 5:20). We
thus began to look into the characters of God and how it applies to the Christian life. For about
seven teachings we discussed God’s Omnipotence. We emphasized the part of God, man and
satan in the good and evil that happens on earth. We showed how that God is not on the
decision or permission seat of what happens on earth. If you have questions about why this
happened to this or that person, you may need to go over those teaching or request for all
seven of them.
We will now begin to look into the Omniscience nature of God. This is a theory that an average
man believes; but only the Word of God holds the “fragile” truth and revelation of God’s
Omniscience. This teaching among other teaching is very fragile; it may appear heretic from the
religious look; but for the children of Light, it is a great revelation.
WHAT DOES “OMNISCIENCE” MEAN?
The word “omniscience” cannot be found in the KJV Bible itself. But it connotes and is used to
describe “God’s ability to know all things”. It is the combination of “omni” which means “all”
and “science” which means “knowledge”.
God knows all intentions (Psalm 139:4); He knows the end (Isaiah 46:10); He knows all things
(John 21:17); He knows all numbers, measurements, and frequencies. (Matthew 10:30; Isaiah
40:12); His eye sees all things (Hebrew 4:13); His knowledge is without limit (Psalm 147:5)
He is perfect in knowledge (Job 37:16)
IF GOD KNOWS ALL THINGS?
Having established scripturally that God knows all things, we need to ask ourselves some
questions. It is very important believers ask questions. There are several – I mean several
revelations that would have never been opened or recorded in the Bible if the disciples had
refused to ask questions.
Since God knew Adam was going to fall, why did He create him still? Why did He punish Him for
sinning when it was His plan? Is that fair? Since He knew humans will build the tower of babel,
why did He not separate their languages earlier? Since He knew Saul would mess up after two
years, why did He still make Him king? Why did He say the house of Aaron would work before
Him forever and change His word on Eli? (1Samuel 2:27-35) Since God knows those that will go
to hell and those that won’t; why did He not just separate them from birth?
Some of us have had to deal with these questions one time or the other; in fact, we have faced
situations in our lives that have prompted these kind of questions. But usually, we religiously
parry them away and face our lives. This is not entirely bad, but since there are answers in
God’s Word, it means God wants us to know. Hallelujah!
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
Let’s face it! Get out of your piety! Take a minute to ponder on these questions. It is either GOD
KNEW THESE EVIL AND STILL WANTED IT TO HAPPEN or HE DID NOT KNOW AND IT IS ALSO A
SURPRISE TO HIM? We have to choose one of these answers. If He knew these evil will happen
and still allowed it to happen, He has no right and is unjust to judge us since it is all his plan
after all. That is a very strong statement. You may need to read it again for it to sink.
Rom 9:19: Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his
will?
“O the DEPTH OF THE RICHES both of the WISDOM and knowledge of God! HOW
UNSEARCHABLE are his judgments, and HIS WAYS PAST FINDING OUT!” (Rom 11:33)
Unto God Immortal, Invincible, only Wise. God’s Omniscience is God’s great wisdom manifest.
Stay with us on this great exposition! We are just starting! We will go fully into more of the
teaching in our next post.
Grace and Peace!

THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 15)
TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT
Previously in this series we considered salient questions about God’s Omniscience nature. One
of those questions is “Since God is so loving and He knows those that will go to hell and those
that won’t; why did He not just separate them from birth?” Many just conclude “That’s why He
is God” some others say “We cannot question Him, He is the Almighty”. But how can we love
such a God? “Is it possible He is watching me fool myself around with religion even though He
knows I will end up in hell?” This is why these questions must be dealt with. This truth will set
us free if we will receive it. I pray that the Holy Spirit causes us all to see this great love of God.
WAIT A MINUTE! IS IT POSSIBLE GOD DOES NOT KNOW?
Dear friend, follow us in the Word of God, the answers are hidden there. Ears have not heard
nor eye seen, but they are revealed to us by the Spirit. (1Cor 2:9,10)
Jer 17:9-10: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I
THE LORD SEARCH THE HEART...
1Ch 28:9: …for the LORD SEARCHETH all hearts…
The word translated “search” is from the Hebrew word “Khawkar” which means “to find out,
seek out, or search out”. The word “search” from the simple dictionary means “to discover,
come to know, or find something by examination”. Thus, this implies that:
A PERSON QUALIFIES TO START A SEARCH ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING HE NEEDS TO
KNOW THAT HE DOES NOT KNOW!
It also means there is something he wishes to discover that he has not discovered, but CANNOT
discover until he “searches” for it. If we say “a person is searching for something” or “a person
searches” it means there is something he wishes to possess that he does not have; either
intellectual or substance. Now you may need to read that again because that will prepare you
for the grand revelation.
THE HEART – GOD’S MYSTERIOUS CREATION
“O the DEPTH OF THE RICHES both of the WISDOM and knowledge of God…” (Rom 11:33)
We must understand the wisdom and love of God and the risky investment He made when He
made man in His own image. Every man wants to be the best and no one like them, but God’s
Love seeks to duplicate Himself and have many like Him. That is the risky investment. God
Himself is mysterious; He made man’s heart like His to be mysterious too, except that man’s
version is now a “corrupted mysterious”. The heart God created is so mysterious that HE
HIMSELF CONSTRAINED HIMSELF to know what is there only after a search.
The heart is deceitful above all things …WHO CAN KNOW IT? I THE LORD SEARCH THE HEART
…to give every man according to his ways…
Page 5 of 13
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
God is expressing how mysterious the heart of man can be and how difficult it is to understand.
He said that He himself searches the heart deeply to grant righteous judgment. God is saying,
“If I the Creator of the heart have to search man’s heart diligently to know it; it shows that no
man can really know another man’s heart and it shows how mysterious the heart of man really
is”
Rev 2:23: …I am he which SEARCHETH THE REINS AND HEARTS: and I will give unto every one of
you according to your works.
The scripture teaches severally without doubt that “God searches the heart” Therefore, if He
searches, it indicates there is something He the Lord can only know by a search. That is a strong
statement! But that is what scriptures have shown us.
Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and
ever. GOD’S OMNISCIENCE IS GOD’S GREAT WISDOM AND LOVE MANIFEST. Stay with us on this
great exposition! We are entering the teaching gradually. It may sound heretic, but this is a
truth that will set you free and bring you closer to the loving Father.
Grace and Peace!
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 16)
TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT
Previously, we concluded through several scriptures that the heart of man is so mysterious that
even God searches the heart (Jer 17:9,10) and “a person qualifies to start a search only because
there is something he needs to know that he does not know”. If God searches, it indicates there
is something He the Lord can only know by a search. That is what scriptures have shown us.
Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and
ever.
THAT HE MIGHT KN0W…
Read the following scriptures like you are reading them for the first time, there are great
revelations there:
2Ch 32:31: …God left him, to try him, THAT HE MIGHT KNOW all that was in his heart.
Psa 139:1,23: Search me, O God, AND KNOW my heart: try me, AND KNOW my thoughts:
Can you see what great revelation the Bible left for us – to discern and understand the
relationship between God and his knowledge of man’s heart? The Bible is telling us in that 2
Chronicles 32:31 that GOD DID NOT KNOW what was in Hezekiah’s heart; so what He did was
try him THAT HE MIGHT KNOW. The Psalmist also had this revelation; He knew God cannot use
him without knowing him, and God cannot know him except he is tried; so he prayed that God
should search him and try him.
TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THINE HEART…
Deu 13:3: …for the LORD your God proveth you, TO KNOW WHETHER YE LOVE THE LORD your
God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deu 8:2: ….God led thee these forty years in the wilderness …TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THINE
HEART, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
We are bringing up all these scriptures so that it will be clear that this understanding is not built
on a single scripture; but several scriptures confirm the same message. God is Omniscience, so
normally He knows all things; but when it comes to man’s heart – the deepest part of his heart,
the Bible repeatedly showed us that God will not know until He searches and tries a man. We
are not trying to “belittle” God’s Omnipresence, but we are showing and displaying God’s great
wisdom and love for man; we are esteeming THE GREAT WORK GOD “WROUGHT” IN THE
CREATION OF MAN. The whole forty years wilderness experience of the Israelites was God’s
way of knowing the deep part of their hearts. God has made it so – that He God and Creator will
not know the deepest part of man’s heart except by a test and a search.
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
We must clarify that: God knows the thought of man generally (Mat 9:4; Psalm 139:2; Isaiah
14:13) i.e. when you imagine anything in your heart, they are very loud before God; but when it
comes to the deepest part of man’s heart WHICH HE HIMSELF MAY NOT EVEN KNOW OR
THINK, the Bible says: Who can know it, even the Lord searches the heart. (Jer 17:9,10)
Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and
ever. GOD’S OMNISCIENCE IS GOD’S GREAT WISDOM AND LOVE MANIFEST. Stay with us on this
great exposition! It may sound heretic, but this is a truth that will set you free and bring you
closer to the loving Father. The people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.
(Dan 11:32)

THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 17)
TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT
Previously, we saw how God took the Israelites through the wilderness for forty years because
He needed to know their hearts (Deut 8:2). We clarified that God knows every thought that
comes to man’s heart many times before he even thinks it. Scriptures gives great insight to
God’s “self-imposed constrain” of not knowing man’s heart. So, when we say God wants to
know man’s heart, we do not refer to just thoughts, plans, desires, and passions of the heart;
rather, the deepest part of man’s heart that many times he himself does not even know. This
part of the heart are usually revealed when man is tested with great power, comfort, money,
wealth, women, persistent and excruciating sorrow, hardship or suffering; even satan knows
this. (Job 2:4,5)
I REGRET I MADE SAUL KING
In 1 Samuel 15:11 God said “It repenteth me that I have set Saul to be king…” (AMP) I regret
making Saul king…; (CEV) I’m sorry that I made him King. (GW) I regret I made Saul King (MSG)
I’m sorry I ever made Saul King
That word translated “repent” in old KJV means to “regret”. The word “regret” in dictionary
means “TO FEEL SORRY and sad about something previously done or said THAT NOW APPEARS
WRONG… or hurtful to others”. God Almighty regretted His action? That is deep! GOD MAKES
NO MISTAKES, GOD IS PERFECT AND INFALLIBLE. But when it comes to man’s heart – the
deceitfulness and mystery therein, it indeed can bring God to a place where He has to feel
sorry. THIS IS GOD’S WILL HIMSELF, we will discuss it in greater light later. Choosing Saul as King
was at a time the best thing to do, but it later appeared wrong. So God felt so sorry for His
decision that said “IF I HAD KNOWN SAUL WOULD BECOME THIS EVIL, I WOULD NOT HAVE
MADE HIM KING IN THE FIRST PLACE” That is regret!
I'M SORRY I MADE THEM
Let’s read this scripture in different versions: Gen 6:6,7:
KJV: And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth… And the LORD said, I will
destroy man whom I have created… for it repenteth me that I have made them.
AMP: And THE LORD REGRETTED that He had made man on the earth… So the Lord said, I will
destroy… mankind… for it grieves Me and makes Me regretful that I have made them.
MSG: GOD was sorry that he had made the human race in the first place; it broke his heart.
GOD said, "I'll get rid of my ruined creation … I'M SORRY I MADE THEM."
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
GNB: He was sorry THAT HE HAD EVER MADE THEM and put them on the earth. He was SO
FILLED WITH REGRET that he said, "I will wipe out these people… because I am sorry that I
made any of them."
God is saying “If I knew man will become so evil, I will not have made him”. Let’s face it: GOD
DID NOT KNOW MAN WILL BECOME AS EVIL AS THEY BECAME. There are deep things about
man’s heart that God intended for mysterious good but because man fell, they became great
tools for mysterious evil. There are deep matters of the heart that God will not know until He
carried out a test; other times these characters manifest and catches God by surprise. Some
other scriptures that show God been surprised or changing plans and strategy because men did
not produce expected results are: Jeremiah 32:35; 19:5; 1King 21:20-29; and Amos 4:6-12
BUT WHY? IS GOD NOT OMNISCIENT? This question will be answered in our next teaching. Unto
the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.
Stay with us on this great exposition! It may sound heretic, but this is a truth that will set you
free and bring you closer to the loving Father.
Grace and Peace!
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 18)
TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT
Previously, we saw how God regretted He made man (Gen 6:6,7) and also that He made Saul
king (1Sam 15:11). We concluded that “to regret” is to say “Had I known”. God actually meant
that if He had known what man will become, He would not have made him. By this we
buttressed the point we are establishing that there is a part of man’s heart that God
deliberately made obscure to Himself until man is tried. If you are reading this the first time, we
implore you to read our previous posts, otherwise you might be too quick to judge it heretic.
Anyway, we implore you not to believe this teaching until you have searched the scriptures
yourself to know it is true. (Acts 17:11)
BUT WHY? IS GOD NOT OMNISCIENT?
God knows all things! That is where we started this teaching from. But we must understand the
limitation GOD HAS PLACED ON HIMSELF when the knowledge of man’s heart is concerned.
GOD KNOWS THE THOUGHTS OF MAN, AS A MATTER OF FACT, GOD PERCEIVES THE HEART THE
WAY MAN PERCEIVES BY SIGHT (1Sam16:7). We are only saying that there are things about
man (that God made it so) that He will not know. These issues include matters about choices
and WHY MAN MAKES THEM- deep heart matters. For example, God does not know who will
eventually go to heaven or hell. He calls everyone and hope they all repent. It is satan that
forces his will on people, God simply reveals His; satan possesses people while the Spirit fills
them.
We have continually emphasized that: there is a part of man’s heart that God can know only
after testing him. Many fail such test while many pass it. Consider the Word of God to Abraham
after such a test. God said “Now I know”
Gen 22:12: And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him:
FOR NOW I KNOW THAT THOU FEAREST GOD, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only
son from me.
GOD DID NOT MAKE ROBOTS!!!
God not knowing a certain depth of man’s heart is not a mistake. This is deliberate. God did not
make us like robots, God made man in His own image. How great is it if we can understand the
depth of such blessing. This priceless and delicate creation (Man) fell into the hand of the devil
and the only way to restore him was by the death of the Creator Himself. Who does that?
That’s amazing! That should give us a picture of what the Bible meant in Genesis 1:26 – in our
Own Image. Man is God’s greatest project – a project worth His Own Life. God made a man that
will have His kind of mind and talk with Him on the same level – standing side by side with Him
in communication. Examples of those who were near that level in the flesh were Abraham
Page 11 of 13
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
(Genesis 18:17-33) and Moses (Exodus 32:9-14). Go through the way they spoke to God, you
will see friendship not slavery. Moses literally taught God what not to do with cogent reasons
and God was happy, He didn’t feel reduced. We must understand God’s intention. Jesus said in
John 15:15 “I call you not servants …but I have called you friends” this is God’s ultimate will in
making man in His Image – that He may have people who will look and live like Him (spirit, soul,
and body) – having fellowship with Him.
Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and
ever. Stay with us on this great exposition! This is a truth that will set you free and bring you
closer to the beautiful heart of our Loving Father.
Grace and Peace!
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 19)
TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT
Previously, we discussed that God’s reason for making man’s heart obscure to Himself was
because He needed people who will be like Him. God is an Independent Being. He receives no
instruction or rules and regulation from any one. If He decides to be evil, no one will judge Him.
Holiness is his nature AND HIS CHOICE. This is the kind of man God wants to make – men that
will do good because they want to, not because they have no choice. This is why God did not
make us like the sun or the moon. None of these heavenly bodies have ever disobeyed God.
Does that mean God is more pleased with them than us? No! It only shows that God is not
interested in mindless obedience, but a deliberate choice. This is why God made another Him
that will be like Him, live like Him, and act like Him – a man that will be powerful like Him, great
like Him and yet loving and holy like Him. Endeavor to read the previous teaching for full
understanding. Remember, God knows all thoughts.
LET US REASON TOGETHER!
Why did God say “it …makes Me regretful that I have made (man)” (Gen 6:6,7 AMP) if He had
known aforetime that man would fall?, it would mean we serve a God that doesn’t mean what
He says or pretends to us. But be it known unto you that: God is Light, in Him is not darkness at
all. God is Truth, falsehood or pretense cannot be found in Him. He honors His Word far more
than His Name. His Word is Truth! He is not a man that He should lie. Pause and think about
this!
Let’s consider the story in 1King 21:20-29. God said He would bring great evil upon Ahab, but
when He saw how Ahab humbled himself, He was touched, He didn’t expect it. He was
surprised that Ahab – as evil as He was would be so humble. Because of this, God said He will
no more carry out the evil in Ahab’s life time. The point is: man surprises God, SOMETIMES BY
DOING GREAT GOOD AND SOMETIMES BY GREAT EVIL. That is the man God created.
A BETTER “GODWARD” RELATIONSHIP
If we look at our lives deep down, this teaching will develop our love for God and relationship
with Him. We are not like chess pieces in His hands, whose lives and destinies are mindlessly
controlled; rather, He has given us a choice. These choices are produced from a deep aspect of
our hearts. A man who makes a car knows it all, there can be no surprises; but God made man
another god who is himself an embodiment of mystery like His Creator. God did it for love and
true fellowship.
FINALLY
God is Love. It takes a Love Being to want another to be like Him. Many make statements like “if
I commit sin from today till tomorrow, if God says I will make heaven, I still will; and if I live
Page 13 of 13
KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient
righteous from today till forever, if God’s will is that I perish, it will still happen” Such statement
are not true. God gave man a choice and constrained Himself not to know its end result.
Understand the great power of choice God gave you, He did not make you like stars that stand
in the sky obedient for generations; rather He made you a man that can choose to be
disobedient or obedient at will. This is God’s Love. Praise Him for making you like Him and trust
Him to help you to be like Him in all things – A MAN WHO CHOOSES RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!
(Note: Prophesies and words of knowledge follow a different principle that this teaching did not
cover. Also note that God’s Omniscience is a mystery we will understand fully only when we see
Him as He is, we only know in part (1Cor 13:12) As touching prophesies, When God gives a
Word about someone, they are given as long as some factors concerning the person remains
constant. God always has a big plan, and He by all means enforces His will by using several men.
If Mr. A fails, God is quickly bringing in Mr. B so that His entire plan will come to pass. But when
it comes to individuals, the principle is a little different, because man’s choice must be actively
involved.
Unto the King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God, be honor and glory for ever and
ever. We have come to the end of this teaching “God is Omniscience” We hope you have been
blessed. We shall now proceed to “God is Love.” Stay with us!
Grace and Peace!

Knowing the real God volume 3_God is Omniscient

  • 1. Page 1 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient KNOWING THE REAL GOD (John 17:3; 1John5:20) VOLUME III: GOD IS OMNISCIENT O’Tomisin Ajileye
  • 2. Page 2 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 14) TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT Happy New Year to you. It’s been a while. We have been studying the theme “Knowing the Real God” for quite some time. We concluded that the purpose of eternal life dwelling in us is to grant us the ability to know God and be united with Him in nature and deeds (1 John 5:20). We thus began to look into the characters of God and how it applies to the Christian life. For about seven teachings we discussed God’s Omnipotence. We emphasized the part of God, man and satan in the good and evil that happens on earth. We showed how that God is not on the decision or permission seat of what happens on earth. If you have questions about why this happened to this or that person, you may need to go over those teaching or request for all seven of them. We will now begin to look into the Omniscience nature of God. This is a theory that an average man believes; but only the Word of God holds the “fragile” truth and revelation of God’s Omniscience. This teaching among other teaching is very fragile; it may appear heretic from the religious look; but for the children of Light, it is a great revelation. WHAT DOES “OMNISCIENCE” MEAN? The word “omniscience” cannot be found in the KJV Bible itself. But it connotes and is used to describe “God’s ability to know all things”. It is the combination of “omni” which means “all” and “science” which means “knowledge”. God knows all intentions (Psalm 139:4); He knows the end (Isaiah 46:10); He knows all things (John 21:17); He knows all numbers, measurements, and frequencies. (Matthew 10:30; Isaiah 40:12); His eye sees all things (Hebrew 4:13); His knowledge is without limit (Psalm 147:5) He is perfect in knowledge (Job 37:16) IF GOD KNOWS ALL THINGS? Having established scripturally that God knows all things, we need to ask ourselves some questions. It is very important believers ask questions. There are several – I mean several revelations that would have never been opened or recorded in the Bible if the disciples had refused to ask questions. Since God knew Adam was going to fall, why did He create him still? Why did He punish Him for sinning when it was His plan? Is that fair? Since He knew humans will build the tower of babel, why did He not separate their languages earlier? Since He knew Saul would mess up after two years, why did He still make Him king? Why did He say the house of Aaron would work before Him forever and change His word on Eli? (1Samuel 2:27-35) Since God knows those that will go to hell and those that won’t; why did He not just separate them from birth? Some of us have had to deal with these questions one time or the other; in fact, we have faced situations in our lives that have prompted these kind of questions. But usually, we religiously parry them away and face our lives. This is not entirely bad, but since there are answers in God’s Word, it means God wants us to know. Hallelujah!
  • 3. Page 3 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient Let’s face it! Get out of your piety! Take a minute to ponder on these questions. It is either GOD KNEW THESE EVIL AND STILL WANTED IT TO HAPPEN or HE DID NOT KNOW AND IT IS ALSO A SURPRISE TO HIM? We have to choose one of these answers. If He knew these evil will happen and still allowed it to happen, He has no right and is unjust to judge us since it is all his plan after all. That is a very strong statement. You may need to read it again for it to sink. Rom 9:19: Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? “O the DEPTH OF THE RICHES both of the WISDOM and knowledge of God! HOW UNSEARCHABLE are his judgments, and HIS WAYS PAST FINDING OUT!” (Rom 11:33) Unto God Immortal, Invincible, only Wise. God’s Omniscience is God’s great wisdom manifest. Stay with us on this great exposition! We are just starting! We will go fully into more of the teaching in our next post. Grace and Peace!
  • 4. Page 4 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 15) TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT Previously in this series we considered salient questions about God’s Omniscience nature. One of those questions is “Since God is so loving and He knows those that will go to hell and those that won’t; why did He not just separate them from birth?” Many just conclude “That’s why He is God” some others say “We cannot question Him, He is the Almighty”. But how can we love such a God? “Is it possible He is watching me fool myself around with religion even though He knows I will end up in hell?” This is why these questions must be dealt with. This truth will set us free if we will receive it. I pray that the Holy Spirit causes us all to see this great love of God. WAIT A MINUTE! IS IT POSSIBLE GOD DOES NOT KNOW? Dear friend, follow us in the Word of God, the answers are hidden there. Ears have not heard nor eye seen, but they are revealed to us by the Spirit. (1Cor 2:9,10) Jer 17:9-10: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I THE LORD SEARCH THE HEART... 1Ch 28:9: …for the LORD SEARCHETH all hearts… The word translated “search” is from the Hebrew word “Khawkar” which means “to find out, seek out, or search out”. The word “search” from the simple dictionary means “to discover, come to know, or find something by examination”. Thus, this implies that: A PERSON QUALIFIES TO START A SEARCH ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING HE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT HE DOES NOT KNOW! It also means there is something he wishes to discover that he has not discovered, but CANNOT discover until he “searches” for it. If we say “a person is searching for something” or “a person searches” it means there is something he wishes to possess that he does not have; either intellectual or substance. Now you may need to read that again because that will prepare you for the grand revelation. THE HEART – GOD’S MYSTERIOUS CREATION “O the DEPTH OF THE RICHES both of the WISDOM and knowledge of God…” (Rom 11:33) We must understand the wisdom and love of God and the risky investment He made when He made man in His own image. Every man wants to be the best and no one like them, but God’s Love seeks to duplicate Himself and have many like Him. That is the risky investment. God Himself is mysterious; He made man’s heart like His to be mysterious too, except that man’s version is now a “corrupted mysterious”. The heart God created is so mysterious that HE HIMSELF CONSTRAINED HIMSELF to know what is there only after a search. The heart is deceitful above all things …WHO CAN KNOW IT? I THE LORD SEARCH THE HEART …to give every man according to his ways…
  • 5. Page 5 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient God is expressing how mysterious the heart of man can be and how difficult it is to understand. He said that He himself searches the heart deeply to grant righteous judgment. God is saying, “If I the Creator of the heart have to search man’s heart diligently to know it; it shows that no man can really know another man’s heart and it shows how mysterious the heart of man really is” Rev 2:23: …I am he which SEARCHETH THE REINS AND HEARTS: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. The scripture teaches severally without doubt that “God searches the heart” Therefore, if He searches, it indicates there is something He the Lord can only know by a search. That is a strong statement! But that is what scriptures have shown us. Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. GOD’S OMNISCIENCE IS GOD’S GREAT WISDOM AND LOVE MANIFEST. Stay with us on this great exposition! We are entering the teaching gradually. It may sound heretic, but this is a truth that will set you free and bring you closer to the loving Father. Grace and Peace!
  • 6. Page 6 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 16) TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT Previously, we concluded through several scriptures that the heart of man is so mysterious that even God searches the heart (Jer 17:9,10) and “a person qualifies to start a search only because there is something he needs to know that he does not know”. If God searches, it indicates there is something He the Lord can only know by a search. That is what scriptures have shown us. Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. THAT HE MIGHT KN0W… Read the following scriptures like you are reading them for the first time, there are great revelations there: 2Ch 32:31: …God left him, to try him, THAT HE MIGHT KNOW all that was in his heart. Psa 139:1,23: Search me, O God, AND KNOW my heart: try me, AND KNOW my thoughts: Can you see what great revelation the Bible left for us – to discern and understand the relationship between God and his knowledge of man’s heart? The Bible is telling us in that 2 Chronicles 32:31 that GOD DID NOT KNOW what was in Hezekiah’s heart; so what He did was try him THAT HE MIGHT KNOW. The Psalmist also had this revelation; He knew God cannot use him without knowing him, and God cannot know him except he is tried; so he prayed that God should search him and try him. TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THINE HEART… Deu 13:3: …for the LORD your God proveth you, TO KNOW WHETHER YE LOVE THE LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deu 8:2: ….God led thee these forty years in the wilderness …TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THINE HEART, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. We are bringing up all these scriptures so that it will be clear that this understanding is not built on a single scripture; but several scriptures confirm the same message. God is Omniscience, so normally He knows all things; but when it comes to man’s heart – the deepest part of his heart, the Bible repeatedly showed us that God will not know until He searches and tries a man. We are not trying to “belittle” God’s Omnipresence, but we are showing and displaying God’s great wisdom and love for man; we are esteeming THE GREAT WORK GOD “WROUGHT” IN THE CREATION OF MAN. The whole forty years wilderness experience of the Israelites was God’s way of knowing the deep part of their hearts. God has made it so – that He God and Creator will not know the deepest part of man’s heart except by a test and a search.
  • 7. Page 7 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient We must clarify that: God knows the thought of man generally (Mat 9:4; Psalm 139:2; Isaiah 14:13) i.e. when you imagine anything in your heart, they are very loud before God; but when it comes to the deepest part of man’s heart WHICH HE HIMSELF MAY NOT EVEN KNOW OR THINK, the Bible says: Who can know it, even the Lord searches the heart. (Jer 17:9,10) Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. GOD’S OMNISCIENCE IS GOD’S GREAT WISDOM AND LOVE MANIFEST. Stay with us on this great exposition! It may sound heretic, but this is a truth that will set you free and bring you closer to the loving Father. The people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. (Dan 11:32) Grace and Peace!
  • 8. Page 8 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 17) TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT Previously, we saw how God took the Israelites through the wilderness for forty years because He needed to know their hearts (Deut 8:2). We clarified that God knows every thought that comes to man’s heart many times before he even thinks it. Scriptures gives great insight to God’s “self-imposed constrain” of not knowing man’s heart. So, when we say God wants to know man’s heart, we do not refer to just thoughts, plans, desires, and passions of the heart; rather, the deepest part of man’s heart that many times he himself does not even know. This part of the heart are usually revealed when man is tested with great power, comfort, money, wealth, women, persistent and excruciating sorrow, hardship or suffering; even satan knows this. (Job 2:4,5) I REGRET I MADE SAUL KING In 1 Samuel 15:11 God said “It repenteth me that I have set Saul to be king…” (AMP) I regret making Saul king…; (CEV) I’m sorry that I made him King. (GW) I regret I made Saul King (MSG) I’m sorry I ever made Saul King That word translated “repent” in old KJV means to “regret”. The word “regret” in dictionary means “TO FEEL SORRY and sad about something previously done or said THAT NOW APPEARS WRONG… or hurtful to others”. God Almighty regretted His action? That is deep! GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES, GOD IS PERFECT AND INFALLIBLE. But when it comes to man’s heart – the deceitfulness and mystery therein, it indeed can bring God to a place where He has to feel sorry. THIS IS GOD’S WILL HIMSELF, we will discuss it in greater light later. Choosing Saul as King was at a time the best thing to do, but it later appeared wrong. So God felt so sorry for His decision that said “IF I HAD KNOWN SAUL WOULD BECOME THIS EVIL, I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE HIM KING IN THE FIRST PLACE” That is regret! I'M SORRY I MADE THEM Let’s read this scripture in different versions: Gen 6:6,7: KJV: And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth… And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created… for it repenteth me that I have made them. AMP: And THE LORD REGRETTED that He had made man on the earth… So the Lord said, I will destroy… mankind… for it grieves Me and makes Me regretful that I have made them. MSG: GOD was sorry that he had made the human race in the first place; it broke his heart. GOD said, "I'll get rid of my ruined creation … I'M SORRY I MADE THEM."
  • 9. Page 9 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient GNB: He was sorry THAT HE HAD EVER MADE THEM and put them on the earth. He was SO FILLED WITH REGRET that he said, "I will wipe out these people… because I am sorry that I made any of them." God is saying “If I knew man will become so evil, I will not have made him”. Let’s face it: GOD DID NOT KNOW MAN WILL BECOME AS EVIL AS THEY BECAME. There are deep things about man’s heart that God intended for mysterious good but because man fell, they became great tools for mysterious evil. There are deep matters of the heart that God will not know until He carried out a test; other times these characters manifest and catches God by surprise. Some other scriptures that show God been surprised or changing plans and strategy because men did not produce expected results are: Jeremiah 32:35; 19:5; 1King 21:20-29; and Amos 4:6-12 BUT WHY? IS GOD NOT OMNISCIENT? This question will be answered in our next teaching. Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Stay with us on this great exposition! It may sound heretic, but this is a truth that will set you free and bring you closer to the loving Father. Grace and Peace!
  • 10. Page 10 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 18) TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT Previously, we saw how God regretted He made man (Gen 6:6,7) and also that He made Saul king (1Sam 15:11). We concluded that “to regret” is to say “Had I known”. God actually meant that if He had known what man will become, He would not have made him. By this we buttressed the point we are establishing that there is a part of man’s heart that God deliberately made obscure to Himself until man is tried. If you are reading this the first time, we implore you to read our previous posts, otherwise you might be too quick to judge it heretic. Anyway, we implore you not to believe this teaching until you have searched the scriptures yourself to know it is true. (Acts 17:11) BUT WHY? IS GOD NOT OMNISCIENT? God knows all things! That is where we started this teaching from. But we must understand the limitation GOD HAS PLACED ON HIMSELF when the knowledge of man’s heart is concerned. GOD KNOWS THE THOUGHTS OF MAN, AS A MATTER OF FACT, GOD PERCEIVES THE HEART THE WAY MAN PERCEIVES BY SIGHT (1Sam16:7). We are only saying that there are things about man (that God made it so) that He will not know. These issues include matters about choices and WHY MAN MAKES THEM- deep heart matters. For example, God does not know who will eventually go to heaven or hell. He calls everyone and hope they all repent. It is satan that forces his will on people, God simply reveals His; satan possesses people while the Spirit fills them. We have continually emphasized that: there is a part of man’s heart that God can know only after testing him. Many fail such test while many pass it. Consider the Word of God to Abraham after such a test. God said “Now I know” Gen 22:12: And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: FOR NOW I KNOW THAT THOU FEAREST GOD, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. GOD DID NOT MAKE ROBOTS!!! God not knowing a certain depth of man’s heart is not a mistake. This is deliberate. God did not make us like robots, God made man in His own image. How great is it if we can understand the depth of such blessing. This priceless and delicate creation (Man) fell into the hand of the devil and the only way to restore him was by the death of the Creator Himself. Who does that? That’s amazing! That should give us a picture of what the Bible meant in Genesis 1:26 – in our Own Image. Man is God’s greatest project – a project worth His Own Life. God made a man that will have His kind of mind and talk with Him on the same level – standing side by side with Him in communication. Examples of those who were near that level in the flesh were Abraham
  • 11. Page 11 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient (Genesis 18:17-33) and Moses (Exodus 32:9-14). Go through the way they spoke to God, you will see friendship not slavery. Moses literally taught God what not to do with cogent reasons and God was happy, He didn’t feel reduced. We must understand God’s intention. Jesus said in John 15:15 “I call you not servants …but I have called you friends” this is God’s ultimate will in making man in His Image – that He may have people who will look and live like Him (spirit, soul, and body) – having fellowship with Him. Unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Stay with us on this great exposition! This is a truth that will set you free and bring you closer to the beautiful heart of our Loving Father. Grace and Peace!

Page 12 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient THEME: KNOWING THE REAL GOD (PART 19) TOPIC: GOD IS OMNISCIENT Previously, we discussed that God’s reason for making man’s heart obscure to Himself was because He needed people who will be like Him. God is an Independent Being. He receives no instruction or rules and regulation from any one. If He decides to be evil, no one will judge Him. Holiness is his nature AND HIS CHOICE. This is the kind of man God wants to make – men that will do good because they want to, not because they have no choice. This is why God did not make us like the sun or the moon. None of these heavenly bodies have ever disobeyed God. Does that mean God is more pleased with them than us? No! It only shows that God is not interested in mindless obedience, but a deliberate choice. This is why God made another Him that will be like Him, live like Him, and act like Him – a man that will be powerful like Him, great like Him and yet loving and holy like Him. Endeavor to read the previous teaching for full understanding. Remember, God knows all thoughts. LET US REASON TOGETHER! Why did God say “it …makes Me regretful that I have made (man)” (Gen 6:6,7 AMP) if He had known aforetime that man would fall?, it would mean we serve a God that doesn’t mean what He says or pretends to us. But be it known unto you that: God is Light, in Him is not darkness at all. God is Truth, falsehood or pretense cannot be found in Him. He honors His Word far more than His Name. His Word is Truth! He is not a man that He should lie. Pause and think about this! Let’s consider the story in 1King 21:20-29. God said He would bring great evil upon Ahab, but when He saw how Ahab humbled himself, He was touched, He didn’t expect it. He was surprised that Ahab – as evil as He was would be so humble. Because of this, God said He will no more carry out the evil in Ahab’s life time. The point is: man surprises God, SOMETIMES BY DOING GREAT GOOD AND SOMETIMES BY GREAT EVIL. That is the man God created. A BETTER “GODWARD” RELATIONSHIP If we look at our lives deep down, this teaching will develop our love for God and relationship with Him. We are not like chess pieces in His hands, whose lives and destinies are mindlessly controlled; rather, He has given us a choice. These choices are produced from a deep aspect of our hearts. A man who makes a car knows it all, there can be no surprises; but God made man another god who is himself an embodiment of mystery like His Creator. God did it for love and true fellowship. FINALLY God is Love. It takes a Love Being to want another to be like Him. Many make statements like “if I commit sin from today till tomorrow, if God says I will make heaven, I still will; and if I live
  • 13. Page 13 of 13 KNOWING THE REAL GOD | God is Omniscient righteous from today till forever, if God’s will is that I perish, it will still happen” Such statement are not true. God gave man a choice and constrained Himself not to know its end result. Understand the great power of choice God gave you, He did not make you like stars that stand in the sky obedient for generations; rather He made you a man that can choose to be disobedient or obedient at will. This is God’s Love. Praise Him for making you like Him and trust Him to help you to be like Him in all things – A MAN WHO CHOOSES RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! (Note: Prophesies and words of knowledge follow a different principle that this teaching did not cover. Also note that God’s Omniscience is a mystery we will understand fully only when we see Him as He is, we only know in part (1Cor 13:12) As touching prophesies, When God gives a Word about someone, they are given as long as some factors concerning the person remains constant. God always has a big plan, and He by all means enforces His will by using several men. If Mr. A fails, God is quickly bringing in Mr. B so that His entire plan will come to pass. But when it comes to individuals, the principle is a little different, because man’s choice must be actively involved. Unto the King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. We have come to the end of this teaching “God is Omniscience” We hope you have been blessed. We shall now proceed to “God is Love.” Stay with us! Grace and Peace!
