 July, 2012, China
 3 days’ Youth Summit in Xi’an, China
 3 weeks of service learning and travel throughout
China
 Generous EACT Youth Grant provided to up to
100 college-enrolled American students
 $1,000 to $1,500 per grantee

Who are the youth participants?
 Youth participants:
 High proficiency in both spoken and written English
 Open-minded and initiative-taking
 Care for public welfare and community service
 Value self-improvement as well as interpersonal and cross-
cultural communications
 Concerned with globally sustainable development
 Leadership, social responsibility, cross-cultural experience, and
more
