2. About Moodle
 Moodle is an Open Source Learning Management
System (LMS).
 Allows the teachers to conduct course related online
academic activities to effectively engage the students
in the course.
 Moodle’s world wide numbers of users are more than
200 million across both academic and enterprise
level usage makes it the world’s most widely used
learning platform.
 Other examples: Canvas, Sakai, Desire2Learn,
Blackboard

 To explore use of Moodle as LMS for various online
academic activities
 To understand and use various activities in LMS
 To use extra Plug-ins integrated in LMS for effective
engagement of students
