1. Ambience Day Spa
Ambience Day Spa was opened in West Wyalong NSW from 2004-2007. This
salon was built on the idea of creating a space that was relaxing, atmospheric
containing down to earth charm valuing customer service as its foundation and
focus.

2. Reception
Ambience Day Spa was set up as a sublease within an existing local Hairdressing salon
called ‘Hair off Main’. This allowed the two businesses to combine efforts to provide
packages within the market that were unique to both our businesses combined.

3. Waiting Area
I wanted to create a simplistic and earthy atmosphere that went hand in
hand with the organic Australian based skin care products we offered.

4. Massage Services
Our treatment
rooms were
created with
clean fresh lines,
yet provided a
relaxing
comfortable
environment for
clients.

5. Nail Services
Nail services were offered in
Manicure/pedicure and specialised
nail enhancement services with
both acrylic and gel treatments.

6. Bridal Make-up and Debutante
Services
Make-up and make-up services were in great demand.
We were the only retailer of Napoleon Perdis Make-up in
the area, which meant we regularly held promotional
days in salon and specialised promotional events out-of-
salon. Having the two combined businesses of hair and
beauty in the same building meant that we could provide
combined hair and make-up packages for Wedding and
Debutantes.

7. Janesce Skin Care Retailer
Janesce was our main skin care line. It is an Australian based organic brand grown
and produced in the Adelaide Hills.

8. Waxing Services
Ambience Day Spa offered all waxing services as well as spray tanning services.

9. Treatment Services for Private Events
Bookings were common for specialised out-of-salon events for personal parties
and fundraising events.

10. Staff Motivational Days
Ambience joined with Hair Off
Main to attend and invest in
motivational days for our staff
members.

11. Community Involvement
Ambience Day
Spa was
involved in
giving back to
the community
that supported
us.
We supported activities for local annual International
Women’s Day Celebrations, conducted fundraising
soiree’s for St Mary’s School and provided face painting
for their annual fete, donated gift certificates for raffles
and gave talks to local groups.
We held
training
sessions for
youth
programs and
disability
service
providers
