festival
Popok Advertising Festival aims to become a strong driving force towards the
development of the region's advertising market and bringing it to international
level.
In addition, the festival is also pursuing a number of other important goals:
Identify the creators of interesting and creative advertisements in
Armenian advertising market,
Provide networking opportunities and establish contacts with talented
professionals from different countries,
Declare Yerevan the host city of annual International Advertising
Festival,
Organize master classes with participation of internationally recog-
nized professionals.

The festival will be held on October 28-30 in different places of Yerevan.

Activities of the Advertising Council of Armenia
The Advertising Council of Armenia has been established through uniting the
best Armenian advertising agencies around one idea, that is, to contribute to
the self-regulation of Armenian advertising market.
The Council’s achievements include:
In April 2009, we organized the first conference of advertising entitled
"The Modern Problems of Advertising", in the framework of which seminars
and master classes were conducted by foreign advertising experts Igor
Ganzha and Maxim Lazebnik.
In October 2009 International Advertising Forum was organized, in
the framework of which the advertising professionals from Russia, Bulgaria
and Uzbekistan conducted master classes and seminars.
It is already 5 years we are organizing the exhibition of winner works
of “Cannes Lions” Advertising Festival for educational purposes.
We have participated in the process of establishing advertising faculty
in the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. The Council members are
currently teaching in this faculty.
The students of marketing, advertising, PR and psychology depart-
ments pass their internships in our member organizations.
We regularly participate in Kiev International Advertising Festival,
Moscow International Advertising Festival "Red Apple", “Beliy Kvadrat”
festival in Minsk, "Golden Drum" festival held in Portorozh (Slovenia).
It is already seven years that the Council established a special prize
“National Colour in Advertising” which is awarded at Kiev International
Advertising Festival, Minsk " Beliy Kvadrat " festival, encouraging the national
color in advertising.
Council members are regularly invited to various festivals as jury
members.
Our union is successfully cooperating with various international
organizations and associations.
