At Zultys, we are always looking for ways to illustrate the value of our technology. The unfortunate circumstances that we see ourselves in today, not only shed light on why our technology is valuable for business but also that it is imperative in today's world we live in. This technology allows companies to never skip a beat. Everything that a user would and could do from the office is now accessible from anywhere. Here at Zultys, over 75% of our employees currently work remotely and have been for years. We thought we would share some of the things that they really like about working from home. If you are considering making this jump, then here's some good information to help you feel more comfortable.
We decided to ask our employees 3 questions. One of them was, what do you like most about working from home? Have a look.

employees 3 questions
What do you love most about being able to work from home?
"I get more done because there are less interruptions and I have better
concentration than in an office. No commute means more time on target. I like
having my dog in my office. It’s calming”
How does the technology you use every day allow you to continue to work
without missing a beat?
"I love using my buddy ZAC. I can quickly reach out to virtually anyone faster
than I ever have before, it’s empowering.
“Being able to chat and/or call people or groups seamlessly. Seeing someone’s
status ahead of time (less wasted time trying to call someone who’s on the
phone).”
“Scheduling meetings and conferences calls is so fast and easy – its great having
Desktop share/File sharing, video, etc. for online meetings.”
“Give me ZAC, a browser & Outlook and I feel like a fighter pilot sometimes,
with all my controls at my fingertips"
What advice would you give to employees that are new to working from
home?
“Always get up, shower and dress like you’re going to the office and keep the
same hours. Every SOHO worker often works later and on weekends and so
forth, but don’t let yourself get burned out from working all the time. Separate
work and home from living at home."

3. We asked our remote
employees 3 questions
What do you love most about being able to work from home?
"Not having to commute in the morning, and the freedom to get a few
things done around the house on my breaks, this enables me to really
enjoy my weekends!”
How does the technology you use every day allow you to continue to
work without missing a beat?
"I have everything that I need to do my job, and find that I get way more
done while working at home than when I do work from the office. I find
there are too many distractions in the office, and that co-workers depend
on me more when I'm in person than when I work from home.”
What advice would you give to employees that are new to working
from home?
"My advise is to stay dedicated and focused on your job, but don't let it
overwhelm you. It's easy to continue to work when you have a home
office. Stay true to your breaks and lunch, and end at your "ending" time
unless you are under a deadline.

4. We asked our remote
employees 3 questions
What do you love most about being able to work from home?
"Without a daily commute to a traditional office, I save valuable time to
be productive and have personal control of my work environment that
suits my."
How does the technology you use every day allow you to continue to
work without missing a beat?
"Staying connected to our team and channel partners to my success. With
Internet access and our extensive tools to communicate via email, voice
mail, unified communications, an Android mobility client, SMS, and more,
I leverage these applications to be an effective Regional Sales Manager."
What advice would you give to employees that are new to working
from home?
“Tap into other remote colleagues and their best practices and adapt
them to your style. Be disciplined with your work schedule to have
consistent start and stop times along with breaks to refresh on
accomplishing the tasks at hand."

5. We asked our remote
employees 3 questions
What do you love most about being able to work from home?
“The flexibility it allows me; working from home doesn’t mean from one, single
place. We have a condo up north and I can work from there without judgement
or needing approval. As with any work place, I need to be completing my tasks,
available and responding, but unlike most other work places I’ve been, I’m free
to do that anywhere.”
How does the technology you use every day allow you to continue to work
without missing a beat?
“When I first started here, one of my dogs had gone blind, quite literally, almost
overnight. He was used to navigating the house, but a few times a day I had to
lead him outside and down the deck stairs for him to spend time in the yard. I
always have my cell phone with me and I could simply log into the mobile app
and still answer calls when I needed to step away. I don’t think anyone calling
me knew that anything different was going on.”
What advice would you give to employees that are new to working from
home?
“Use all of the tools you have available to stay in touch and communicate! I
don’t interact face-to-face with coworkers or customers, but being able to talk,
email, IM, group IM, text message, screen share and voice/video conference still
make me feel as if I’m having personal connections.”
