assets and approval workflows in one place.
 Cloud based Document Storage and Management solution for Different
Industries.
 Cloud computing business - Provides file sharing, collaborating, and other
tools for working with files.
 Users can determine how their content can be shared with other users.
 Box Sync to automatically synchronize between your computer and your
online folders.
 The box is a cloud storage tool for data saving, we can drag and
drops data on this tool quickly. We can save data form remote
computers and it grants us great data protection and we can easily
locate our data from anywhere and from any device.

 OneDrive is a secure access, sharing & file storage solution which enables
users to store & share photos, videos, documents etc.
 It’s a Software App easy to manage and share Documents from anywhere
and work together in real time on your favorite devices.
 It’s packed with Collaboration Tools and Users get up to 1TB Storage for a
reasonable price.
 Integral part of Office 365 or SharePoint Server - Provides place in the
cloud to store, share, and sync your work files.
 Update and share your files from any device.
 Work on Office documents with others at the same time.
 If you use Office 365 with OneDrive, you can share a file to edit
collaboratively in real time.

 It is easy to Check My Profile details for each of the Accounts and edit them once Signed in as shown below:

 For Box Recent Section in the Left Navigation Menu & For OneDrive Click i Pane to know Recent Activities.

9. Adding File/ Folder using New Option
 For Both the Environments please Click New Option to explore different options to add files, documents, PPT, Excel
and many more options as shown below:

10. Uploading File/ Folder using Upload Option
 For Both the Environments please Click Upload Option to Upload a File separately OR Upload a whole Folder
Structure as shown below:
 Box Limitation: You can include Zip Folder inside a Root Folder to upload but can’t directly Upload a Zipped Folder
whereas OneDrive supports the End User to Upload a Zip Folder directly too.

11. Box Sharing Options – Single User
 For Box Drive please Click Share Option to Share a File separately OR Upload a whole Folder Structure for a Single
User with available Permission Type Options as shown below:

12. Box Sharing Options – Multiple Users
 For Box Drive please Click Share Option to Share a File/Folder separately OR generate a Shareable Link with an with
additional options for Multiple User(s) with a single specific Permission type only while sharing.

13. OneDrive Sharing Options – Single User
 For One Drive please Click Share Option to Share a File/Folder separately OR generate a Shareable Link with an
Expiry Date & Password too for User(s) with a specific Permission only.

14. OneDrive Sharing Options – Multiple Users
 For One Drive please Click Share Option to Share a File/Folder separately OR generate a Shareable Link with an
Expiry Date & Password too for User(s) with a specific Permission only.

15. Apps Management to Sync with Local Desktop
 For Both the Environments please Click Box Drive App & One Drive App to Download, Install so as to Sync all your
Local Desk Top Files with your respective Clouds and vice versa to promote Desktop Syncing with Cloud.

16. Mobile App Management
 Go to Play Store/Android Store as per your Mobile Download and Install Box & Microsoft OneDrive Apps.
 Sign into them and start Editing, Viewing, Uploading and also Sync to your existing Clouds files.
 There is an extra Layer of Security with Microsoft Authenticator App as Passwords can be forgotten, stolen, or
compromised. With Authenticator, your phone provides an extra layer of security on top of your PIN or fingerprint.

17. Recycle Bin
 For Both the Environments please Click Share Option to Share a File separately OR Upload a whole Folder Structure
for a single / group of Users as shown below:

18. Notes Option
 Only for Box there is a special feature for Creating Notes of various available Templates that can be selected, edited,
and save it as a Template to promote Re-Usability. Click: https://app.box.com/notes

19. Photos
 Only for OneDrive there is a special feature for Uploading Photos individually and also as an Album and share them
to single / multiple Users. Go to My Files >> Photos >> All Photos / Albums / Places to Upload & Share!
