Your productivity might drop to a new low if you’re having a terrible mood,
which can then lead to greater stress and a further worsening of your
mood. A bad mood can play a spoilsport with your whole day. Therefore,
these foods that cheer someone up are necessary to rid yourself of them
as quickly as possible and return to your normal, upbeat self as soon as
you can.
There are some foods that cheer someone when eaten, may assist boost
your mood, and make you feel much better than you did before. This is true
despite the fact that it is not simple to get rid of a negative mood since each
one stems from its own unique set of circumstances.
The following is a list of 12 such nutritious foods that, when consumed
while you are feeling down, will enhance your mood, raise your health, and
increase your energy levels.

someone up:
1. Oats
Oats, which contain complex carbs and have a low glycemic index, have
the ability to significantly improve one’s mood. Complex carbs do not
induce a surge in blood sugar levels, which is a recognized contributor to
erratic emotional behavior.
They cause a gradual release of sugar into circulation, which has the effect
of regulating both your blood sugar levels and your mood. In addition to
this, they are rich in the mineral selenium, which has been shown to have
the ability to improve one’s mood.
2. Fruits & Vegetables
According to the findings of a number of research, the antioxidants that
may be found in fruits and vegetables are associated with a reduced
likelihood of developing depression. A research study was carried out not
too long ago on 3,500 men.
Women showed that those men and women who reported eating a diet
abundant in whole foods in the previous year were less likely to feel
depressed than others who consumed a lot of refined grains, processed
meats, fried foods, desserts, and high-fat dairy products.

3. Fish

to the fact that they are quite helpful foods that cheer someone up.
Therefore, eating foods that are high in omega-3s, such as oily and fatty
fish (such as salmon, tuna, sardines, and rainbow trout), may significantly
enhance your mood and make you feel more optimistic.
It is known that omega-3s may change the chemicals in the brain that are
related to mood, including dopamine and serotonin. Dopamine is a feel-
good neurotransmitter that is generated by the brain in reaction to events
that correspond to pleasure, while low levels of serotonin are associated
with sadness, anxiety, and even thoughts of suicide, among other negative
mental states.
4. Avocado
Avocados provide a broad variety of health advantages, including those
that are beneficial to the brain. These are excellent foods that cheer
someone up and also help protect your heart and provide assistance with
digestion.
Avocados have a natural balancing effect on hormones, which helps
ensure that your brain is producing the happy chemicals it needs to
maintain a positive disposition.
