2. George Lucas was born in 1944 in the
USA, as a teenager he was very interested
in drag car racing but due to a terrible car
accident he had to give it up. That crash
changed the course of his life as he
decided to go into the film industry. In 1967
he was awarded a scholarship by the
Warner Brothers, leading on to 1973 when
Lucas made his LTD Lucasfilms, and also
in this year he went on to start writing the
Star Wars moving, which changed his
career forever as these movies made such
a big hit. As a si-fi action and adventure
movie this made an extreme amount of
money from profits as the movie was so
successful.
3. From watching Lucas’ movies I can see
that he likes to use the establishing
shot very often, as before most scenes
he establishes the area with dramatic
short cut music so the audience
understand where the characters are.
Also from his movies the close up isn’t
used very often, as wide shots and
long shots alike are used most often,
this is due to it being mostly si-fi or
adventure movies, where the areas
that are filmed are areas where the
audience have never been to before in
their lives so if a lot of the angles were
close up as such then the audience
would be confused to where the
characters are.
4. These are a few of the movies that George Lucas has directed, including
Star Wars, Indiana Jones and others he’s written.
