overseeing anywhere from one to five continuous rig operations
o Worked for fourteen plus years as a Drilling Superintendant / Engineer overseeing one
to three rig operations
o Duties were designing wells, cost estimates, rig selection, and overseeing the day to
day execution of those plans
o Sixteen years with oil companies working the rigs as a Company Man / Field Engineer
with extensive experience in Developmental, Exploratory, and Remedial operations
o Worked the following rig types in and around the Gulf of Mexico Semisubmersibles, Mat
and Independent Leg Jackups, Deepwater TLP and Spar Floating Production
Platforms, Conventional Shelf type Platforms and various Land Rigs
o Experience with Deep (25,000 ft) HTHP H2S wells around the Destin Dome,
Mississippi Canyon
o Experience with many horizontal and high angle wells in the GOM
o Experience with MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) wells, successfully drilling several

2. wells where the pore pressure fracture gradient window were as 1.0 ppg or less
o Generated the first Interim Well Containment Plan along with creating the Responsible
Party Checklist for Chevron’s GOM Business Unit’s Floating Production Platform
(Genesis Spar) after the BP Deepwater Horizon Macondo incident
