1. First day at university
Since high school, I have been waiting to enter university. I
always wanted to be a university student. My first day at Taylor’s
University was on 23rd
of March this year. On the first day of
university, I was very nervous about coming to university which was
a totally new environment for me and also a place where I did not
know anyone.
I had some strange experiences on that day. There were
students playing indoor games and outdoor games and enjoying
radio programmes during class hours. There is no restrictions of
uniform, students can do things to their choice. It is quiet challenging
for me which I have to wake up by myself, do the laundry, wash the
dishes and also cook for my own. It was an amazing experience that I
had never gone through in my life and also the day to leave home
and begin the journey to success.
I found that the method of teaching in the university is
different from that in the school. Each subject is taught by a
specialized teacher. Professors do not rebuke students if they fail
their subject which they will just simply tell the students to be more
conscious of their responsibilities.
