As part of our final assignment in our Sport Tourism course, our group along with 11 others from the class presented a mock bid presentation to win the rights to host the 2019 Ontario ParaSport Games for the municipality of our choice. Our group chose to represent the Kitchener - Waterloo region.
Our presentation was very successful and received high praise from our professor and the two guest panelists who attended our presentations to assist our professor in the critiquing of our bids. These guest panelist had real world experience and insight into bid presentations and offered us great advice to improve upon future bids in the chance that any student in the class wishes to pursue a career in event hosting.
