  1. Overview of the plan and what I’ll go through. Let me know as we go if you have any questions come up – we might deal with them right away or I might hold them if the subject is coming up later in the presentation. I’ll also leave plenty of room at the end for questions and discussion Want to first set the scope – have researcher background but in law and technology (a copyright lawyer) as opposed to education. So this presentation is set in the light of sharing observations as opposed to trying to define educational pedagogy. These observations will first be based on the faculty and student content behaviors we see through the SIPX platform, Then move to how schools and educators are using that data (and other data) to make decisions about how to iterate and further develop a MOOC course.
  2. On top of that, we’ve seen that access to detailed and contextual analytics is pretty new for everybody. We’re all taking baby steps into understanding how we can use this to improve education, create efficiencies, and move students to success faster. Here are some of the things we’ve identified so far… Here are some of the possibilities we are looking ahead to…
