BMÖ Austrian Supply Excellence Award 2015
The ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) were honored with
the Supply Excellence Award 2015 for their outstanding
procurement solution by the BMÖ (Austrian Association
for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics). The
award winning solution is based on OpusCapita software.
They paid tribute to the reduction of bureaucracy through the procurement solution and its user-
friendliness. Supplier management includes approximately 10,000 suppliers, 2,500 contracts,
about 650,000 order lines and more than 750 product categories. Orders and approvals - even for
complex products and services - will operate solely electronically.
