  2. 2. Having concerns that a child or young person has been harmed, or is at risk of harm, can have an emotional impact on you or others you work with. You need to have support in these situations.
  3. 3. If an allegation of abuse is made within a Catholic setting, there are very clear processes in place to respond. All Church leaders understand their responsibilities to support anyone who is impacted in an allegation of abuse. This includes the person who has made the report.
  4. 4. Seek support through • The Safeguarding Co-Ordinator • Leadership Team within the Diocese or Religious Institute • Debriefing ( either individual or group) • Speaking with your GP or health care worker • Employee Assistance Program
