CLUBS
Google Developer Student Clubs are university-
based chapters for students interested in various
technologies.
From working to solve the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals to helping local
communities making a difference, Google
Developer Student Clubs’ members are learning
valuable coding skills while making a positive
impact in their campus.

4. Developer Student Clubs (DSC) are community
groups for students from any academic
background in their undergraduate or graduate
term.
By joining a DSC, students build their professional
and personal networks, get access to some
exclusive resources, and work together to build
solutions for some real life problems in a peer-to-
peer learning environment.

through technology.

bridge the gap between theory and practice.
It is intended to be a space for students to learn
and collaborate for skills and knowledge through
projects and hands-on experiences.
The Google Developer Student Clubs train
thousands of student developers globally and work
with their communities to solve real-life problems.

9. DSC SOLUTION CHALLENGE
The Solution Challenge mission is to solve one or
more of the United Nations 17 Sustainable
Development Goals using Google technology.

10. Every year a different set of problems is given which can
improve the lifestyle of common people & create a
positive impact on the society. The problem
statements for DSC Solution Challenge are based on
17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
These 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
are created by the United Nations in 2015 to be achieved
by 2030.
And all the United Nations Member States agreed upon
these 17 Sustainable Development Goals with an aim to
end poverty, ensure prosperity & protect the planet.

12. DSC Week Of Wonders, aka DSC WOW. A
weeklong event consisting of a 4-day long
workshop/session and a 48-hour
hackathon named CodeOffDuty. To
developers and tech enthusiasts, this is much
more than workshops and a hackathon, it is a
place where imagination meets the technology
of tomorrow.
