2. BACKGROUND:
Whom It May Concern:
My name is Chris Van Poos, I am a dedicated Graphic Artist from Miami with a
love for Interactive Media and Photography. I started in this industry about six and
a half years ago by mistake and have been in love with it ever since. I began as
a local print broker selling print media which led me to design, a few years into it
I decided if I really wanted to succeed in this industry I would need to take my
education to the next level. So I decided to attended Full Sail University which is
one of the top Digital Media School is in the nation. I absorbed everything I could the
time I was there and have been applying it since. I returned form school about a year
and a half ago and have worked for two great companies, both of which have given
me great letters of recommendation. Hope you like my resume.

Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County on a temporary basis as a graphic
designer, creating or refining all types of Center marketing collateral, from posters, flyers, print
ads, and programs, to e-blasts and image tiles and other Web-related items. Originally budgeted
to work for only a two-week period, we extended his employment another five weeks due to his
exemplary work. Chris displayed great creativity and complete technical command of his field.
His intuition led him to make intelligent design choices. He worked independently once a project
was assigned, but always receptive to suggestions and alternate ideas, making him a very
valuable asset to our fast-paced, deadline-driven marketing team. He will be an asset to any
