3. In 1999 the label opened its own record store in Uptown Minneapolis called Fifth Element. The store has become a staple of hip hop in the Twin Cities, specializing in local music, but also selling independent and commercial hip hop.
10. Forgotten about Myspace? Rhymesayers hasn’t! Although, it pretty much mirrors their Facebook page. But at least they’re willing to go down in the trenches for those fans who still use it.
11. And of course, no company can really claim to be in the social media game if they aren’t using Twitter and Youtube. Just like with Myspace and Facebook, Rhymesayers use these tools primarily for artist promotion and fan interaction.
12. Rhymesayers partners with the digital media company SevnthSin, which provides the web and aplication content to some of Minnesota’s largest companies. e.g. The Timberwolves, Target, Harley Davidson, etc.
