3. • Cherish Foundation is a non-profit NGO registered as a charitable trust that
works for a common social cause the up liftment of needy and vulnerable
communities in the society.
• At present 48 children (24 Boys and 24 Girls) aged between 7 –17 yrs are at
Cherish Homes. There are wardens and couple who stay with children who
take care of children with love. By faith and commitment, we are forwarding
to take up the children to promote the best standards of lives.
4. . Need for the foundation
• Cherish foundation is a registered Charitable Trust purely a faith-based ministry
• At present 20 out of 60 children are sponsored by some of the local friends and well-
wishers.
• To run this orphanage we need around Rs. 5,00,000/- per month. There is a huge
amount of bills due at school and in other areas.
• In this humble work, we need your support and help without which it will be
incomplete work.

6. Scope of the study
• The result of this research would help the company to have a better
understanding about the orphans towards cherish foundation.
• The study helps the company by creating awareness about the children of
different ages and intense levels.
• The study also enables the company to focus the preferences and
expectations on them.

• Strengths of the Nonprofit
In the simplest terms, strengths are advantages. Look for advantages the nonprofit has that give it an edge
toward fulfilling its mission. Strengths could be an internal donation source, strong funding, great leadership or
such a strong message that people are inspired to help.
• Weaknesses
Generaly, smart business owners look honestly at weaknesses so they can develop strategies to improve
them. When it comes to a nonprofit, the same is true. Anything that might be a strength also has the potential to
be a weakness. Ideally, weaknesses addressed properly can become strengths.
• Oportunities
Business leaders look for opportunities to take advantage. Nonprofits need to seek the same types of
opportunities to exploit. Opportunities can be in marketing or specific types of events that promote the mission
of the nonprofit.
• Threats
Threats include laws, regulations and even aggressive competition of the nonprofit and disagreeing about
how to spend funds.
8. conclusion
• On the whole, this internship was a useful experience. I have gained new
knowledge, skills and met many new people. I achieved several of my learning
goals, however for some the conditions did not permit. I got insight into
professional practice. I learned the different facets of working within a NGO.
